Two of the coolest musicians to have ever walked the earth. Nice journey.

The concentration on Jorma’s face during the bass solo is STUNNING.

Since 1969, Hot Tuna, simply Blues. "Simply" the best. Nuff said.

Would it be a stretch to say these guys are an American musical treasure? I think not.

I wasn't, but they're nice guys, not the "rock star" stereotype when I saw them on both coasts.

so as I wrote in an other you tube chat of jorma and jack lovers, hot tuna have been one of the wonderful sound track in my life. anyway, when I see these two old men (I am 64) to play in a live contest ... not so sure on their legs, stopped in their side, or moving so slowly, I am not sure that's a good way to leave the rock scene. then, when I listen their as usally way to play, when I look at jack wich wait for a jorma's signal like he did on '70, when I close my eyes, my armchair becomes again my first ford car ... and fuck the age, fuck sickness and pain. an other short chapter of all hot tuna guys life soundtrack! Have a good evening my so dear "kaukonian" unknown friends.😝

These guys have been friends since grade school and you know they can read each other's minds by now, which make for a great show no matter how you slice it. The only issue I see is that after playing together so long (well over 50 years) you have to wonder if they ever get tired of the same tunes.

No not at all as these tunes all had merit & were fun for them to play or they would have moved on & left all the old tunes to gather dust . These guys knew how to keep playing them & make them new for each performance . Yea if they didn't love this music so much they wouldn't keep playing them plus with so much material over the years it's damn hard to get bored .

@@paullevine1813 just dawned on me the other day that Jorma is 83 and Jack is 79 (?) ... still on tour after all these years. Jorma is scheduled to play in my town for early April so already have that on my calendar. I missed the chance to hear Electric Hot Tuna last month in New Haven Ct. This was their last scheduled tour as a whole band... and I'm bummin'!

As good as Jack Cassidy is he is still so underrated ,what a musician. All that stuff he did with Kantner and Slick all those years Ago. Bass feedback with so little Tech, very early 70s .Anyone remember A Child is Coming? Crosby, Kantner, Slick and Cassidy. Magic ....

He probably keeps it at home these days as it's been used a lot over the years & it was made up of other Bass model parts by friends of his & it's not a stock off the shelf Bass . I'm sure he takes good care of it by keeping it at home . Lots of hidden little things about the bass & it's history . It's my understanding Jacks friend Glen Quan built it up & changed pickups & a bunch of things out of one of Jacks old Starfire Basses. He loves his hollow body style Basses so there's another reason he may not use it much if at all anymore. This bass has seen many changes to it over the years as well.

It's a shame when famous performers don't know when it's time to quit. Reminds me of a decrepit Henry Fonda in "Golden Pond" or Mohammad Ali at his pitiful end. Unfortunately, famous people often become so narcissistic that they can't bear living outside the spotlight of Fame, even when they are well past their prime. Sleepy Joe Brandon is yet another example of an old man Addicted to Fame.

You’re a buzzkill who should keep negative thoughts to yourself and quit trolling. This is transcendent music. You’re just missing out or hard of hearing.

And if you knew or ever even met Jorma and Jack, you’d know they are the opposite of narcissists.
