You missed one of the best aspects of this masterpiece and that is the back up singing of Marge Raymond and her group. Female singers singing Evil Woman like they are the incarnate themselves. Like someone pleading guilty in court. You know they did it and I know they did it to this song.

I heard mama blaring this on the radio when I was about 10 years old. Took the time to ask her what the name of the song was and thank god I did. She's been gone for 13 years today. Love & miss you tremendously Kimberly Kay🤍

Just heard this song on the radio. Brought back memories of gta4. Never realized is was Elo until I looked it up. So glad to finally know who made it. I love elo.

Oh, wow! I’m definitely old. All of us who were in high school in the 70’s still recognize ELO the instant any of their songs come on. Glad you like it. Every generation thinks theirs is the best but after living through five decades of Top 40 I’m still convinced the 70’s had a relationship with its music that no other decade has yet to match.
@jacobthomas62003 жыл бұрын
I'm only 24 but was raised by grandparents. I mostly listen to old rock and don't care for anything newer. Can't believe I did not recognize this as Elo.

Great song! When I listened to it on the radio in my youth, I heard "he needs a woman", rather than "E-evil woman". Ha ha! Now, it brings to mind two evil women with whom I'm personally acquainted, though not, thank the Lord, ever "romantically involved".

Don't forget the 'missing' verse - only included on the 'stripped down' version of the track - Hang down for just a while And I'll tell you a story that'll make you smile 'Bout a dark-eyed woman with a Cadillac But all she had was on her back Well, a fool rushed in this time and saw Just the kind of woman that he adored She lay beside him and turned on her charm But this devil's woman sure know how to do you harm....
