yeah I took a $3 add on to an oder, from the same place and was pretty close to where the other was being dropped off, but when I got there it was the biggest house I have ever seen im my town, like rich rich, and they tipped 1$ 🤷‍♂

Any advice for someone wanting to start delivering but on a budget to get themselves started. I will honestly say it looks fun and also something I be interested in pursuing. Wishing you a good day and continued success!

You can do this on any vehicle probably the most dollar wise would be a bicycle or a bike. Scooters are great but they are not ideal for this business. Do you need to have money for a good scooter and maintenance and repairs which are inevitable. On a budget you start with a regular bike and then you try to buy a good E bike.

My best advice is just work a normal job, save up for a good scooter and gear and then quit and do Uber eats or DoorDash fulltime.

Is leaving orders at their apartment doors expected there? Maybe i'm used to much smaller apartment complexes over here where the customer can quickly come down in a min tops. I just usually leave it inside the buildings front doorway and leave it at that.

Yeah here 100% you got to get it to their door. Some drivers are lazy and leave it at the entrance. It says in the notes “ leave at the door“. Seems a little negligent if you just try to leave it at the entrance I know they want it at their apartment door. . Yes might be different in neighborhoods with smaller buildings!

I had a question, do cops enforce having a license while riding the scooter? And also, if I drive slowly, can I ride on the sidewalk? I’m in LA county and I’m just wondering

You are not gonna need a license but you can get pulled over. Cops will pull you over if you are driving like an asshole, weaving in and out of traffic or running lights. You can ride on the sidewalk but you need to be extremely careful of pedestrians and cracks in the road. i’ll try to avoid riding on the sidewalk as much as possible.

This is just the way they sound and I actually have the acceleration dialed almost all the way down lol. I was happy with 60 V scooters but these new 72 V are insane.
