Here is an update on the Mearth RS electric Scooter.
This Electric Scooter review is based on my experiences with what I believe to me the best e scooter in Australia.
This Mearth has been a joy to own, I have taken it everywhere, including being able to ride the Mearth Scooter past some of the amazing icons of the Australian Outback Adventure.
The MEARTH RS is a fantastic medium to long range electric scooter.
With a range of up tp 65km and a speed of 25-40km/h, this little electric scooter really packs a punch.

Another fantastic review Rob! It is a catch 22 re-laws… but unfortunately I guess they have to take into account people who wouldn’t abide by the regular rules… I would hate to see someone take out an elderly person as they are flying by… Great scooter though x

My sons got an electric scooter, different brand not Meath, and they are so much fun…but you do see people riding the, quite irresponsible at times (not my 15 yr old and his mates of course) so I can understand the hesitation to make them legal. But in so many ways they make perfect sense.

We can't make something illegal because we have a minority of idiots. They're going to be idiots no matter what laws exist. All those laws do is molly coddle the rest of us who want the wind in our hair and fresh air as we enjoy leisure time or simply the electric commute to work.

please do a review of the cyber . an awesome scooter that has 180kg capacity , the RS is not for me as I weigh over 120kg

Great review mate. I’m 50/50 on the laws debate. On one hand the laws appear archaic, and on the other I believe that certain people in our society operate them in a manner which make the scooters difficult to permit? As usual, people are the problem. 😉✌️

But as usual, laws operate to catch offenders... but all the while penalising everyone else by having stupidly low speed limits and not allowing users access to pathways. Anyone with respect for pedestrians would slow down for slow road users and make themselves known. The "hoons" fly around recklessly endangering people.. and this will happen REGARDLESS of the laws put into place. So the result is, for everyone scared of the fine, we're all restricted to limited places , ridiculously slow speeds and low wattage rides puttering about like idiots doing 10 or 12 kph blanket speed limit on footpaths, meanwhile the hoons flout the laws ANYWAY! So tell me, if the majority of us are sensible road users, why slap us with rules meant to catch the law breakers, reckless and careless riders? I'm sick of it. And it happens EVERYWHERE.. from places where dogs aren't allowed to the traffic light system and rules around those.

Some laws make no sense. Until you think about the cotton wool, blanket wrapped affinity the government has, for our safety of course. Great scooter though.

t would be good (But not for Mearth) if the reviews were done on after sales service and customer support....Mearth FAILS in both

This company has the worst customer service and product service. They dont answer emails and return phone calls repeatedly. An average product with poor reliability . Do not buy

Unfortunately I ordered a RS-Pro back in July and am still waiting for it to arrive. The lack of customer service and poor communication is disappointing. My RS-Pro has now been lost or stolen in transit by Border Express - Australia's most incompetent transport company. Well done Mearth! I highly recommend e-scooter buyers go elsewhere! 😡
