Thanks for your great informative content. Not sure if it's an oversight or error but you definitely have ND1 in ELEC EMER CONFIG as well. I don't believe it's been a mod along the way either. Cheers !

Dear Sir, first of all thanks so much for an amazing content! I can really see your true enthusiasm when it comes to the Airbus...happy to see someone to suffer from the same "illness" :) One comment concerning the INOP systems in case of the BUS failures, if I may. In case of AC ESS BUS FAULT both AUTO/MANUAL control of PAX OXY MASKS is lost. Might be worth mentioning the descent to a lower level should be considered, if encountered in cruise. Once again, thanks for your great job!

Seriously good stuff. Have a sub to v-prep and bunch of other stuff but this explains things in really simple and effective form. Thank you!

Very good video as usual Regarding the emer elec if I can add: DC ESS host LP fuel valve DC ESS SHED hosts HP fuel valve Regarding below 100 kts the batterie will feed as well the DC BAT BUS 👍😉

I think you should elaborate about the GEARB model. If you turn on both the EXT Power ... Avail and APU, the aircraft will use electrical sources from the APU. If you press the EXT PWR .... On, then it will use EXT PWR.

On Batteries only, both FMGS are lost (24:05). Thank you for sharing!

In elec emer on ground and below 100 kts, the DC BAT BUS is automatically connected. What’s the purpose of this compared to the configuration of flight with batteries only?

Good instruction but i think using a mix of talking to camera and slides would enhance your content further. Slides would be easier to see and instead of us looking at your back, you’d have more time to talk about the concepts. You could even edit in photos/videos of components in. 👍👍👍

Please note that ESS TR is not powering DC bus 1 as you have mentioned at around 06:38 mark , it’s is AC1 to TR 1 to DC 1 :)

Good spot. It is of course TR1 as drawn (mouth and hands comms). AC2 TR2 is correct. Ess TR is mentioned later in Emer Elec. Thanks for the feedback

The GCU will have a Speed Governor or frequency regulator to maintain the frequency.

hi, nice videos that I'm watching with my greatest pleasure. I have a question around the minute : 20', if you have a failure in dc bus the engene won't shut down on the ground, so which switch are you going to press on the overhead panel ? I didnt understand exactly the switch are you going to press in order to shut down the engine. Thank you, Eugenio

The HP fuel valve remains open with this failure (Engine MSTR SW) and so in order to shut the engine down the FIRE PB must be pushed. The procedure is in the QRH

Thanks for that excellent video ! Just one question : when in EMER Elec Config, if suddenly one GEN (1 or 2 or both) runs again, can you recover all the systems and subsequently exit from the Elec Emer config ? Same with the APU, if you start it, will it power something or just run for nothing ? Thanks 🙏🙏

Hi and thanks for the question., If we think about the priorities given Airbus likes Generators, as soon as a gen is recovered and able to supply the AC busses then normal elec config is resumed and you emerge from the dreaded Emer Elec Config! From memory it might be that That the Ac and DC ess busses will still be maintained by the RAT until is stalls.
