Dosto aaj es video ke andar hamne electrical mai upyog hone wala dg matlab diesel generator ka sath capacitor ka upyog kyu nhi kiya jata batane ki btane ki kosis kari hai. Sath hi aapko es video mai maine kuch electrical tips What is KVA and KW, what is factor, use of capacitor in electrical, KVA to KW calculation, what is Alternator or en sabhi ke sath mai aapko electrical working ke baare mai bhi practical jankari di hai. Ummed hai aapko yeh video bahut pasnd aayegi (hindi,urdu)

DG are normally limited in capacity, hence as a power source with a leading pf, are not advisable to have a directly connected capacitor bank…. A directly connected capacitor bank will immediately bring an over unity power factor to the DG which will trigger it to self-destruct by losing the voltage specially in unloaded conditions.. It is more preferred for a DG to have a lagging pf for a more reliable operation…typically around 0.8 pf for a more reliable operation… A DG being a limited capacity power source, any planned power factor corrections is switch on and off together with the load.... DG set output is often distorted and full of harmonics. These can cause harm to capacitors.DG set cannot take even light capacitive load, if this happens by chance.Load on DG can vary quite frequently, and capacitor bank cannot control it on continuous basis.Usually DG sers themselves are quite small in capacity, and capacitor bank is of not much use.

With lesser power factor say 60% Load Power factor = 0.6 DG rating in kVA = 1000 Load in kW = 500 Load kVA is required = 500/0.6 = 833.33 % of DG utilization = 83.33 With improved power factor using APFC say 85% Load Power factor = 0.9 DG rating in kVA = 1000 Load in kW = 500 Load kVA is = 500/0.9 = 555.56 % of DG utilization = 55.55 From the above it is clear that when power factor is improved the DG utilization for defined load say 500 kW is less and the burden on DG is reduced compared to the unimproved power factor. So isn't that good to connect APFC and maintain PF close to 90 to 95%? Can you pls explain what would be case if we connect a load of 750 kW with 0.6 PF, will the DG supply load current? Also one small suggestion instead of using 'KVA' pls use 'kVA'.

1. Ye batao capacitor ko add karne par load 800kw se 1000 kw kaise ho jayega 2. And ham 800 kw load fix hai to capacitor laga ke power factor improve kar rahe hai to kya nuksan hoga kyonki hamare equipment se bhi to power factor kam hota hai kewal alternator me hi loss to nhi hai na.?

Capacitor se Reverse power generate hoti hay. So excitation loss hoti hay. Reverse Power relays operation se DG trip hota he. This is real Reason. 🙏🙏🙏

Following are my Questions Regarding Capacitors on DG. We connect individual Capacitors near the Inductive Load only & we turn it on when the load is on. And when the load stops, the capacitor also shuts off. In this case following scene creat... 1) Capacitors leading current will cancelled the Inductive load current, & capacitors leading current doesn't move to DG Alternator. 2) We can save the Fuel consumption 4-5%. 3) Voltage regulation also good.
