More than 70% load is motors. 3 phase is enough to create rotating magnetic fields for the smooth operation. May be that is another reason.

3 Phase system use because it is easily generated ,when we talk about 1 phase or 2 phase system it is vary difficult to generate due to higher insulation level but in these 3 Phase system ,power is easily generated at hv level. Anathor causes is that is phase difference ,in the case of 3 Phase Ballance system it has 120 degree phase shift ,but in the case of 2 phase system it near about 180 degree which causes faces some problem . Waiting for reply ......,

In 3 Phase system, each phase is 120 Degree apart from each other so total will 360 degree which causes motor to turn As most industrial applications are electrical motors Correct me if any mistake 🙏
