Showing you what's new in the latest Electricity / Electrical Update in Roblox Islands, including how to get Electrite from Electrite Ore Nodes, how to upgrade your Electrical Workbench, how to use solar panels, how to use a Splitter, how to use a Timer, how to setup LEDs, switches and more!
One thing I _did not_ show is how to use the Coal Generator since it's a bit underwhelming. SKIP IT, go straight to the Level 3 workbench or focus on a Steel Press until you can afford it.

The only thing that I think they should add is some form of piston mechanism. I think that would lead to some very impressive and creative builds. I would love a shot at working with these. It would make Islands feel more like my Minecraft home.

I made power lines with only a tier one, I used levers and I built up 7 and mad there 5 lever spots on each pole, I now have power to anywhere

Islands dev should make it so with a steal rod you can stick it into a potato and with it get a small bit of power if you are a beginner or non trader

Great video showing the update. One thing though it’s almost impossible to hook up anything on mobile or tablet. The UI is terrible. They need to consider people not playing on desktops when adding these updates.

It be cool if you cam make a electric smelter you need power to use the smelter and you need 200 elactrite and 10 steel rod to craft and you need a blueprint so it can't be to easy to get. To get the blueprint you need to break elactrite ore. It super rare

I used the LEDs, solar panels, combiners, splitters and timers to make a flashing GG sign. Grinded about 3000 electrites.

The splitter should be change the direction when other items get throught it. example you put coal into it and it goes to left, then if you put another coal it should be go to right or should I say 1:1 ratio

honestly, the logic isnt too hard to understand. I might actually be able to use this effectively. i just realized that you cant actually do much with it yet other than run power into lights lol and i also realized that i need to upgrade my elec workbench nice
