Every year the Opening Ceremony brings together a dynamic lineup of live performers. In addition to @DJFeliceOfficial a marching band, a soul-stirring gospel choir, the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra, rhythmic drummers and a heartwarming school choir mesmerize the crowd. Together, they deliver 14 sensational, orchestrally reinterpreted songs, crafting an unforgettable 18-minute show that is simply breathtaking.

This was the first year I went to ELF, flew from USA. I was very nervous because I don't speak German at all, and wondered if I get lost or make any friends. Turned out everyone was so friendly and helpful. As I was roaming around people adopted me in their group, I met so many people that couldn't remember everyone's name. I felt like I left a piece of my soul at ELF, and I’ve been missing Austria and people over there so much. I’m now studying German and definitely will go again next year. On another note, ELF food and drinks were so affordable (minus the plane ticket) comparing to US music festivals with extreme marked up prices. It was a great weekend.

I thought lots of Germans/Austrian know a lot of English before the wall fell for east and west Berlin. Plus they are all signing along with the English songs. So no one talked to you in English? And what about party favors? Did they help you find those?

Geht so. Bin sehr happy, dass die Show immer so hochqualitativ hochgeladen wird, denn vor Ort hab ich wegen der Enge und den ganzen Smartphones nur die Hälfte gesehen..

Brings me joy to see this, started going to EDC and rave festivals in the late 90s 1997-2000 bring tears to my eyes how much fun it is, now im 42yo with 2 kids, i keep teling them enjoy life and never regret experience the great things in life, bring good memories. thanks for keeping the love going.

Ребята, нет слов 😳🤭. Грандиозно! 💞 Мировой масштаб. Девчонки от эмоций писают кипятком (да, и парни, что уж) Немыслимая организация ШОУ. Сочетание звука, света, спецэффектов, компьютерной графики, живого звука, детский и взрослый хор, оркестр, пиротехника - немыслимая работа: продюсера, режиссера, светорежиссеров, звукорежиссёров , технических работников, музыкантов и исполнителей и прочих прочих профессионалов... Огромное СПАСИБО. И спасибо, что дали прикоснуться к этому ШОУ, хотя бы посредством KZfaq 👍🤝🍷

I can finally see the whole thing. When it was happening live, I was too busy trying not to be squished to death by the sheer amount of people present. Easily the most packed crowd of the whole event.

Ich war schon öfter auf den Elf und auch auf anderen Festivals aber dieses Jahr hat es mir nicht so gefallen nicht, weil es nicht gut organisiert war sondern eher, dass zu viele Leute an den Stages waren und vor allem samstags da konnte man gar nicht mehr irgendwo hingehen da war sogar bei den Essensständen schon gottlos irgendwo durchzukommen. Fands auch im WarmUp problematisch ich war z.B fast ganz vorne und hab ca. eine Halbe Stunde gebraucht um wieder raus zukommen aber muss sagen ich bin nicht einer der leute wegschubst was aber leider gefühlt 80 % der Leute dort gemacht haben und man dann nicht richtig tanzen konnte weil man sowieso schon zerquetscht worden ist.

ich war auch dort und ich finde schade das so viele songs inerhalb weniger stunde/n doppelt und dreifach gespielt wurden was ist das für eine organisation traut man sich die stars nicht nach einer song liste zu fragen oder zumindest es so timmen das innerhalb kurzer zeit nicht gleich 2 lieder doppelt gespielt werden und dan teilweise so alte lieder.

@@fabiansp.5460 Neue Lieder muss man auch entdecken es gibt viele dj die nicht so bekannt sind. Ich find alte Lieder auch gut aber es wird ja eher so das von den letzen 12 jahren gespielt. Morten hat so ziehmlich das selbe gespielt wie letzes Jahr sogar die lichtshow war teilweise echt komplett identisch den er hat es von letzes jahr hochgeladen und ich hab videos gemacht xd

Ich kann nur leider nicht verstehen, wie viele Leute im horizontalen Modus die ganze Show mitfilmen, wenn es danach doch in so einwandfreier Qualität hochgeladen wird. Wäre toll, wenn es eine kurze Meldung davor geben würde, wie "Keine Sorge, wir filmen für Euch mit!"

😮OMG That had to be one of the best openings that I’ve ever seen on Screen, what it must have felt like to actually be there, can only imagine, .. it was amazing that they included every Genre of music, and played and sung with a choir, singers, drummers the lot, absolutely incredible 👍👍👍❤️

Jedes Jahr frage ich mich, wie kann man eigentlich das alles noch toppen? Was soll alles passieren und jedes Jahr aufs Neue zaubert ihr Tausende Meschen ein strahlendes Lächeln! ELF 24 kann kommen, bin sowas von NICHT bereit emotional, aber kann es kaum erwarten wieder! :3

Liebe Veranstalter, als geb. Koppler und jetziger Hallwanger, mit vielen Erfahrungen von Event Veranstaltungen: +30-50% Kapazität planen. Gefühlt denke ich noch mehr. (auch bei Schnürlregen + (auch ohne Red Bull, Fuschl am See) das wird ein "MEGA" Event. Love Mike

That could be the festival if it was longer. Its the best opening festival I ever saw. Thats what we need. Today there is no similar events with music mostly made by real people live (for electro). So thats also a suggestion to make a festival only with that kind of music and the people singing, playing instruments, dancing thats really giving a vibe that I never got.

Ich war ebenfalls auf dem ELF und ich verstehe einfach nicht, wie man in solchen Momenten das Handy zückt, um ein Video zu machen, von dem anschließend 1000 im Netz kursieren und es in 8k Auflösung vom Veranstalter gibt.
