Was that the best Premier League performance by Nottingham Forest in the last 2 seasons? Goals from Hudson-Odoi, MGW and Wood light up The City Ground, as Forest took all three points against Fulham last night in the Premier League, which moves us 3 points clear of the relegation zone.
Nuno has been asking for his players to start games better, and that's exactly what happened last night as an early goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi settled the nerves in the City Ground, and Forest went onto produced the best football of the season to head into the break with a 3-0 advantage. Fulham got a goal back in a more even second half, but Nuno's men held on for what could be a vital three points.

Am still buzzing this morning. That was proper football. First half we were simply awesome, we tore them to pieces. Great organisation and work rate to manage the game second half. I had us beating Palace and losing to Fulham, they always seem to have our number. Was down after Saturday but we’re now ahead of where I thought we’d be points-wise. More, more, more please!

Funny thing though, lots of fans on here were saying sell Mgw a wk ago 🤷‍♂️. He's our best player by a mile, when he ticks the team ticks. The pressure he's under to carry the team every game must be immense. Should do everything to keep hold of him imo.

The city ground was absolutely banging last night, much like when cooper was in charge. Maybe we went through a bit of a mourning period, regarding cooper, but where back on and the team responded magnificently. My only gripe was, when they brought willian on, why didn't Yates sit on him, he's like a magnet to the ball and Fulham look for him to set the tempo and the play, but apart from that brilliant

Oh Wolfie, Wolfie, Wolfie. I need to apologise to you my friend. Before the match, I said to you that there was more chance of me piloting the next Space Shuttle, than there was of Forest beating Fulham. Well, I am now sat in the cockpit and firing up the rockets, and the countdown to blast-off has begun, because I am delighted to say that I was proven to be well and truly wrong. I have never been SO happy to have been proven wrong in my entire life! I was at the match last night, and the performance from Forest was absolutely electric. Nobody around me could believe what they were seeing! It was like we were watching a COMPLETELY different team. Where did THAT performance come from? Yes, we conceded from a corner yet again, and that still certainly needs addressing on training pitch, but the rest of the performance was absolutely scintillating. I may be high on the happy-clapper juice, but following that performance, I am now finally starting to believe that we could actually, possibly, and hopefully, STAY UP!! I didn't think that that was possible, but following that performance from the boys last night, now it is certainly a very achievable possibility. COME ON YOU REDS!! ⚽⚽♥️♥️

Sels who? Exactly what was needed. The drama is now taking up the field where he puts the ball when it goes back to him. A long way to go but a healthy serving of confidence off the back of that display must get the players believing their training ground belief can be translated onto the match day pitch. Being as we're hopeless at defending the aerial threat from set pieces couldn't understand why Woody was defending the back post goal line and not covering off the near post flick on.

Must agree that keeping Murillo is a must. The heart of the defence, and a decent keeper are key at this level. Stop conceding and you always have a chance. MGW is good at his main skills but need to become a more complete player for me. The way he watched the ball for his goal was just as he does for a penalty. If he did that every time he'd score many more from open play, instead of snatching at them as he often does. Great performance though, and something to build on. Let's hope they can take all of that to London and get something away from home. More shots on target though please, and hold on to that grit and determination. Enjoy the ride up to whenever the next dip arrives, and be very well indeed.

I actually went to the Spurs v Luton game last Saturday and Tottenham were not great at all - very sloppy at the back and in midfield - Luton could easily have taken points so we have a chance to take some points back home Sunday evening 🙏 COYR's 🙌
