My experience with this amp head was that the EQ was not very responsive. The bright channel could never get warm enough and the warm channel in input one, could never get bright enough… Either too bright or too dark with no happy middle ground for my ears. Very well-built and loud. I sold it to a guitar guru friend of mine for $300 and he absolutely loves it 👊

There's no too dark in Metal and there's no crying in Baseball. Wtf u talking about? It's made for Metal not some country western or pop rubbish. It's #EHX , NOT fender. Want warmth? It's not a heater, it's a Metal Amp. Perhaps u should buy a damn heater. 🌞

@INeverWanted2010 That's your opinion. I didn't say it's the best Metal Amp, however, with a few tweaks, and the proper pedals, it can be Metal af for what it's built for... Band Practices, Small Venues and Recording. At 50 Watts it's underpowered in many Bands. Fortunately, it takes much less Watts to push a Guitar Tone than a Bass. I'd use 50 Watts for Guitar no worries yet on Bass the smallest I have is a 100 Watt Ampeg Monitor. Other thing is the price at just over $1,000 for 50 Watts... seems a bit much that could just be the Bassist I am, speaking. #EHX has some high quality Tubes for sale, if I owned the Mig, I'd upgrade it just like I upgrade other gear and me reviews are also based on that. Slap the best EHX tube in every slot, put in best speakers. It can be not only Metal, it can be Death Metal when I finish with it. 🌞

It would Sound better with the Metal Muff or Hell Melter, both made by ElectroHarmonix #EHX . The Ibanez Overdrive is weak. Ibanez makes good Guitars, however they make shitty pedals. Stay on brand. Don't mix garbage with Cognac. 👍🤟🎛
