As someone who studies horticulture, this is completely wrong. Pointing out different sized leaves as a reason for it working is wrong. A couple of reasons why - 1st a plant has lots of different sized leaves depending on the growth stage of the leaf/leaflet. 2nd, an old plant will take longer to grow it's leaves bigger compared to a younger plant. If you want to grow your plants bigger, water in a seaweed solution at it's roots. In Australia, there is a product called Seasol, there is probably equivalent product for the rest of the world. Apply the Seasol in water once a week until you start seeing results. This product is not a fertiliser, it is a soil conditioner. The rough particles of seaweed allow for a greater transition of nutrients from the plant's roots to soil and vice-versa.

I am wondering if this increases your chances of lightning striking your house. Also, is it your opinion that electroculture doesnt work even for younger plants? Im researching this. Id like to hear tour opinion.

@@yusufsmotherMy first comment is in reply to the video and the results of their unscientific testing. It is a dangerous process to be encouraging. I do not enough about electroculture to comment on it. I would caution against using this process unless one understands the full effects on their plants and themselves. I can understand that the following might have been the origins of this process. In a thunderstorm, a process called nitrogen fixation takes place. In simple language: the atmospheric nitrogen is charged by the lighting and is able to bond with the rain drops and form nitrates. The rain soaks into the soil and there are a few processes that the nitrates go through with the help from bacteria and then it becomes usable plant food.

I planted 6 fruit trees in March 2022. One didn't make it. Bought a replacement and planted 3/2023. It git 2 flowers on it and very few leaves. I figured it was going to die and maybe the ground was funky there. I planted 2 pear trees in the front. One was beautiful, the other had 2 small sprigs of leaves. Six weeks ago, I added copper antenas (electraculture). I put copper antenas (electraculture) on the south side if each tree. The trees that were doing well, tripled in leaves and blooms in 8 days and now they are full and beautiful.. The 2 trees that were close to death, are leafed out beautifully! Wow, I'm blown away. I'm making and adding more electraculture to my 12 raised beds with food growing. Tomatoes have doubled in size. I'm lovin it. Blessings, julie

This actually works. It’s a new science. If you wrap a 8foot fence pole(wood) and put it 2 feet down it will positively effect all the plants around it in a 15 foot circle. That uses a thicker wire and it does matter which way you wrap it. FYI

The concept is the electromagnetic field generated by the "antenna" causes a frequency in the soil, allowing the soil to release the iron ions which bind the soil and the copper actually loosens the soil so that the water can penetrate and the roots can get the water more rapidly.
@steezydan8543
@steezydan8543 Жыл бұрын
@@rofree2470 None of that makes sense. An antenna does not generate an electromagnetic field, it is acted upon by an electromagnetic field, and wrapping a bare copper wire around a tree both doesn't make an antenna nor does it produce an electromagnetic field. Now please explain to me how a frequency can "release" iron ions, because I must have missed that part in electronics where vibration had anything to do with ionic bonding, and not, you know, valence electrons.
@steezydan8543
@steezydan8543 Жыл бұрын
I should clarify that, yes, electricity causes an electromagnetic field, and that an antenna being excited by radio waves, thus causing an increase in voltage, will in turn itself create an electromagnetic field. But if that magnetic field is being interacted with by anything else, the voltage will commensurately drop, meaning that if you're using an un-amplified antenna to capture radio waves to convert the radio waves into electricity to convert the electricity into radio waves, you're going to literally not have anything because the total resistance of the circuit would be so high that there wouldn't even be any transfer of electrons. Remember, the pretense here is that you use excited copper to act upon something else electromagnetically, that's an order of magnitude more energy required than just exciting the bare copper.

I should say a pound of coiled copper on branches but I don't have an antenna. Also if this is true and coiled copper makes bigger leaves that's dumb, the whole point of a small bonsai pot is to reduce leaf size. I don't like electroculture anymore.

Ok guys, do as you will adorning your trees like its Christmas. Just realize that wrapping a tree in wire can lead to girdiling, cutting off sap flow, if you dont stay particular with wire placement. Secondly, all the results you showed are circumstantial big leaf here or there doesnt prove anything. Bonsai artists have been wrapping copper wire around trees for hundreds of years and claimed no resulting better growth from this practice. Bonsai people would love to get better growth from a tree using copper wire, but they use increased oxygen in the soil, balanced feeding, watering regimen and pruning techniques to achieve this the wire hold the branch to a desired placement in the overall picture of what the tree is supposed to look like according to that artist.

THose worrying about lightning should understand your trees and plants are planted in dirt. Grounded. Yes, trees get hit with lightning sometimes, usually because its the tallest thing around when lightning strikes. Electrical Theory is really interesting. We studied frequencies and how every single thing has a frequency. Seems this copper wire is just amplifying those frequencies in a way that promotes growth. Cool idea. I say, "If it works, was it a bad idea?"
@steezydan8543
@steezydan8543 Жыл бұрын
Something that is grounded will attract lightning, because lightning is seeking the shortest path to ground. Wrapping a wire around a tree increases the conductivity of that path to ground, increasing the likelihood of lightning hitting there. I don't know if you've brushed up on your Ohm's law recently, but copper's conductivity is defined as 16.78 nΩ•m at 20 °C, and lightning is measured in the millions of volts, so your 20 feet of copper wire with maybe point two or point three Ohms of resistance is going to be met with millions of volts, meaning millions of amps. Millions of amps travelling through a bare copper wire around a tree IS GOING TO SET THE TREE ON FIRE

This my seam really hokus pokus but there is possibly something to this. Except I'm not talking g about plants & trees. There's a company that talks about something pretty much like what he's discussing here with the trees & stuff. The difference is it talks about the impact of sleeping on this mat you put on your bed that has these (I think copper wires) wires that you plug in & sleep on top of & how it helps your health in many differentways. In the video the company representative, CEO, or doctor talks about being/getting polarized with or world or something to the effect. Wish I could remember the name of the company but I just don't. I've seen it several times on KZfaq though. Of course they want you to purchase a mat & possibly other products that can help you with different things you might be dealing with. Also, you know they have witnesses who have purchased their product(s) & benefited from the healing abities it can have on you when you use it/them. He even discusses studies that have been done for way back when as proof of their claims. Maybe someone will see a it on KZfaq & be able to listen to what I'm trying to explain. I personally have not bought what their selling. It's expensive & I can't afford it. But, it can certainly peak your curiosity & be willing to try it if you're suffering extremely with your health in certain areas, & there has not been any medical specialist who can help you, & you are just wanting some kind of relief. Desperation can cause people to try anything no matter how hokey it sounds!! 😉 😮
