Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) :
The flow of induced current in a coil when a magnetic field changes in the region of the coil, this phenomenon is called Electromagnetic Induction.
Whenever there is a change in the magnetic field in the region of the coil, current flows.
Electromagnetic induction in a straight wire :
When the wire is moved in the magnetic field, then-current flows. This current is called an induced current.
- If there is more magnetic field or motion of wire is at the fast rate, then more current is produced.
- If there is moving along the length of the wire or along the line of the magnetic field, then there is no current.

Sir I have a doubt The thumb finger Fleming's right hand rule shows the direction of movement of conductor, but we aren't moving any conductor in the 2nd experiment you showed. How does it happen then? Also if the conductor was moving, then the direction of magnetic field and direction of movement of conductor is different. How does this happen?

The galvanometer will show a deflection whenever there is a change in the current. So when it is switched off, the current reduces (change occurs). Thus, it will deflect.

Sir my doubt is when the poles of magnet is reversed, then the galvanometer shows deflection in a different direction. So how do we determine which to direction will the galvanometer deflect while bringing a magnet towards it?

5:40 sir this means that when a wire is given a current it produces magnetic field and if the wire gets magnetic field it will produce current?
