RIP #shakara21 A 19-year-old Giorgi Shakarashvili’s body was found in the river Aragvi after a four-day search, on June 22. He went missing while at a friend’s birthday party early on June 19. An autopsy has shown that he was beaten by 6 people who drowned him in the river. Several days before his death, he told to one of his friends that this song makes him happy. Like others have said - it's pure melancholy. I have always loved this song but it evokes a deep sadness in the depth of my soul. I'm now in my 50s and this inexplicable feeling when i listen to this track makes me feel a sense of regret and sadness about my life that is not justified. As an American, I was unaware of the news of poor Shakara. I simply came here to listen to a great song, but left with a whole new demeanor. I'm saddened to hear about the tragic death of this young man. I did not know him nor much about his country of Georgia, but the overwhelming support I see for him makes me deeply saddened for his family and people of Georgia. I understood this was his favorite song. All I have to say is, I will never look at this Daft Punk song the same way again... Rest in peace, Shakara.

But later, I wanted it test it, whether its true or not. I tried to remember everything that happened and why it happened. I isolated myself, and decided to study myself and even cure myself. But at the end I always stumbled to the wall that did not let me to do it. I was exhasted and I was furious to the whole world. I dont know how I ended up here. But I know why I am here. And the only answer why I did not become one of those "bad" personalities, because of my grandpa and how he raised me. And every time I listen to this music, I start to remember the day when he was gone and it softens my heart. Still remember how we buried him and the amount of people came to mourn him. That was worst period in my life. Break up, kicked out of school and this. But I did not wanted to be left like this. I worked and studied for a whole two years to get into my dream University. At the end I got into it. And now after four years, I am here realising that everything that I did was because of him and for him to be proud of me. But the truth is that my grandpa was always proud of me. I can see it in the videos of him and me with him and how he was treating me. The lesson is do everything how you want to do it, not how others want you to do. And love yourself as much as others love you and support you.
