Great video, I know it’s been a while, but am having an issue with my transmission showing fault, it’s 2014 Pete 579 same tranny giving code 19, 16 is this the ECA I need to replace? It did this to me couple times already I had to try to reset the system, hope to hear from you thanks!

Please inspect your clutch and inertia brake before replacing ECA because if they are worn out it will possibly give a false ECA fault issue. Had a friend have the same issue couple of days ago.

@TheTruthCvo2022 in my case it was a defective Electronic Clutch Actuator. It is highly advisable to inspect the clutch and clutch break for excessive wear because those might throw the same code.

I have no fault codes however my actuator does not push the throwout bearing far enough to slow down the clutch brake, therefore I can't engage my pto, I can drive and shift but it has hard initial shifts (N to D, or N to R) indicate it's because the clutch isn't slowing down.

Inertia brake is most likely worn out and motion range of the actuator is not enough to stop input shaft from spinning in order for transmission to engage gears. I'd get the brake looked at and clutch wear looked at before replacing clutch actuator. Actuator in your case is still fine I believe.

@@Tech_Marshal Clutch, brake, and flywheel all new. Figure it out, can't activate the PTO in neutral, have to put it in gear, activate, then go back to neutral

Ooh that's a wierd one. Is the brake actually stopping the input shaft. Not sure if it's adjustable. Trying to figure out why PTO doesn't engage in neutral though 🤔 😕 😐 🙄

If you cycles the key 10 times the actuator will calibrate.

Yes it has to learn the New thickness of the clutch and the clutch brake.

@TriggerzElite Ideally you'd need the software to reset. I hear you can disconnect batteries and let computers recalibrate. Or turn key on and off 10 times to reset.
