The following resistor connections are used: parallel, serial and mixed. Parallel connection of resistors is used to obtain less resistance from the simplest radio electronic elements available. With this method of connection, the conductivities are added. Therefore, the more resistors connected in parallel, the lower the total resistance or the higher the conductivity of the corresponding part of the electrical circuit - it is easier for carriers of electric charges to overcome it. A series connection of resistors is used to further limit the flow of electrical current, that is, lead to an increase in the resistance of the corresponding section of the electrical circuit or to reduce its conductivity. Mixed connection of resistors is a combination of the two previous methods. Although in practice it is used quite rarely, one is often, even almost always, used in the calculation of electrical circuits. Also the most important parameter of the resistor is the power dissipation. With any method of connection, it is not important, in the sequential, parallel or mixed mode, the addition of the dissipation powers of the individual resistors occurs. Therefore, all together, they are able to dissipate more heat, and accordingly, and to pass large currents without overheating, which is widely used in amateur radio practice.
