An excellent, and reliable method that I use to repair or make brake/shifting cables for bicycles and more, as well as repair throttle cables which the crimped end has pulled off/fallen off. SUPER STRONG if done as shown in this video. Some people like to "Soft Solder/Low Temperature Solder" cable ends by leaving the steel wire spread out after it is inserted into the cable end, but once they solder the end, they usually cut or grind away the flared out cable end making the connector flush. By doing that, they defeated the purpose of having the wire spread out to add strength and prevent it from pulling through the hole in the cable end. Soldering is not as strong as brazing!
