Sorin even my son is watching your video. And fixed his laptop. He is telling me that men is funny. And vape all the time. What a waste of time. I was laughing it was so funny recognizable in the most of the videos. Its helping us to make the old non working working again. There is nobody with the same skills that you have. With not replacing the parts but let it work again with only a solder iron and a wire. Thank you 🙏

Because of your videos I was able to buy a "nice laptop" (MSI GP60, sold "completely dead" for around 100$), exchange dead power supply + one of the capacitors that was shorting and got myself a completely fine hardware in perfect shape, that I'm currently using at work. Thanks a lot, Sorin!

@@incandescentwithrage I'm a civil engineer with master degree and for last year I've been working with my wife (same degree) in construction site estimates. Yes, it's our private company and for the most of the time I'm working on my main station (i5 6600k, 16gb ddr4 2400Mhz HyperX, gtx 1050 6GB by MSI), but lately I was in a need for an efficient enough unit to run some costing-estimate software on-the-field. And, since I really like a challenge, instead of buying some cheap Lenovo, I tried to put whatever Sorin taught me to work, and work it did! :) Once again, thank you for all your tough work, Sorin!

Just wanted to say. this is the stuff I do all day long. not boring for me. I like to see Sorin getting the job done. and under 30 mins. thats where the money is at boys n girls. If you can diagnose and repair in under an hour you can make money and be fair to the customer. When you need to dig out the schematics and start troubleshooting the circuit your bill goes up and the customer might start to wince at the cost of repair. so this is how you do it fair for both parties. keep making videos Sorin, your the guy on the front line that makes both honest and frank videos, to the point and very informative.

I would like to know if once the repair jobs are completed and the devices are returned to the customers, do those customers actually watch the repair job on this channel and see what you had to go through due to a misdiagnosed problem that the customer or the other shop gave you? Many people are unappreciative of the type of job/work that had to be done. I for one would like to thank you for your work that you do and the lessons that you teach us - keep up the good work.

Ok, I have to say this was very dodgy xD, but for old machines it's all right. I would have been thinking for days maybe to find the connector and to change it, then I would have spent few more other days to figure out how to change it. Mr Sorin is just putting a wire and done. Next. You are on a whole other level...
@paulodagraca3469
@paulodagraca3469 4 жыл бұрын
You are right, this is the quick fix. Not dodgy at all, even beter ! As the power does not pass the connector any more, and has a stable fixed power line. The fix price is low, and so is the amount of repleacement parts 😉 Use this information to see how it works and how problems can be found on backlight issues. How you fix your own board is not the same, for sure you would take more time and care (parts). Thanks Sorin for this great repair information, and quick fix tutorial !

A classic hp service already changing the whole screen maybe plus board by now lol ,he did it with only a wire ,that is skill ,you have to know exactly where you hit your hammer .this can seem unnecessary for wealthy countries where ppl throw and buy new bc electronics cheap ,but in many countries these skills still saves tons of money to waste.

Dnul Sorin, Sunteti minunat! F f calm. Locuiti in RO sau afara?

@tekmusti

The time seperates 3 sections. Which are the begin, during and finishing. The man who have problem with time, the time section is during one. Which is in the middle. Learning is in the section which is during one ! Not at the begining and not at the end. Being impatient is a time problem.who has that problem, he/she wants to see the ending. İmmidialitly, To see the ending means that ,to be impatient or to have a time peoblem. İf you want to learn somrthing ,you have to learn being pation. İt is quite simple to being impatition. You should choise the hard one. Not the easy one. And dont care alot about the time. Especially the during section. The middle section of time. The golden section,the pricefull one! The man who makes video, he doesnt care about the time. He care you to understand and learn something. He earn money from his fixing and job. What about his time that he gives you! After all, you said it is boring ha! Shame on you and shame on everyone who mentions about boring. Your mind is bored.not the time and not the video.

What... Did You use your fuse wire to make the connection 🤔😏
@yodaco
@yodaco 4 жыл бұрын
well. if the fuse wire is rated about say 3A then thats ok. the line should not carry more than that. its a tiny little wire, thats why it is paired so that the wire doesn't melt, the fuse wire is not a bad move in that if something grim occurs then the fuse will break. saving the display..in theory. but yes, I use fuse wire where ever I can. say jumping over bad mosfets.
