I love the simplicity in the graphics of the game, but I love the complexity of the mechanics. It's a great game; to this day!

honestly LM2 is destroyed by scammers and exploiters but still wanted to play it because it gives me a lot of happy memories back then. I hope defaultio make an anti hack or exploits for the destroyers and look forward to the game because the game was a great game to express your skills. i hope so.

scammers are type of people that would take your money and leave and then when you join them and ask for the money back they go "poo poo fart doo doo haha poop in the toilet slipped of the toilet seat it reeeks guacamole chicken kebab wrap habanero sandwich" but they are poorly sanitized in real life and have below than average hygiene and their eyebags are lower than their iq

I remember playing Lumber Tycoon 2 in 2016 for the first time, it was such an interesting game, it kept me playing until 2017, it felt limitless, the amount of biomes to explore, working hard go get an axe, it had an unique charm. I started playing Lumber Tycoon 2 again in 2021 and I realized that the feeling that it gives hasn't changed, after 5 years (2016 - 2021) it still didn't lose it's charm, I mean, the game doesn't feel that limitless as you know the game and how it works, but still. Even with the lack of major updates, cheaters, bugs, the game is still fun and interesting the same it was before, that's what make this game magic.

Maybe adding a feature to view bases will inspire people to build nice bases in stead of piles of duped stuff. Players can vote for the best bases wich are in the toplist of best viewed bases.

He should also do fan Made tree voting event sometimes... so it could be added to the game! Since LT2 Fan made trees are various in shape, unique and interesting, it would be nice if Josh do Fan Made Tree voting event... Not only we could enjoy the new tree textures for our building, the challenges we got when we try to get the tree, the prices of the tree when we sell them, we also gonna have fun voting the tree and fight with other voters who votes different tree. This idea showed and sticked into my head for a very long time and highly inspired by Minecraft Voting events

Lumber Tycoon 2 IS actually a fantastic game, I met my online bff we had so many memories together in that game and after I met him we started to explore new places around the map and discovering every single detail of the game and were using the updates to create very fun functional things in the game, and I had a very good time trading and meeting people that could be called 'The NICEST People in Roblox'. I appreciate this explaining Electro!

He updated the ferry on August 27 so it works consistently now. I love playing this game. Only started playing last year tho. I'm on Xbox also.

In my opinion, exploiters aren’t even that bad as long as they are only doing things for themselves or people who want it.

Bro, when they give people free money or dupe rare items and sell them for low prices, it inflates and destroys the game economy. Think about it. Exploiters are the main reason why this game is ruined. Before, people used to grind to progress in the game, and to trade items for fair prices, now all they do is ask an exploiter for stuff. Please, stop ruining the this amazing game.

@@loganferguson5833 It was this kind of mentality that popularized this ridiculous practice. Just one person doing this can affect the experience for dozens of players. Every single exploiter contributes to making the game as it is now, and that's a fact. Sorry, but the use of exploits in Lumber Tycoon is unjustifiable, there are no arguments to justify this practice.

@@loganferguson5833 In that case it's understandable, as long as you don't brag about the construction and admit that you cheated. Now duplicating items and selling them for low prices, inflating the game's economy and ruining the rarity and value of items, is completely unjustifiable. Whoever does this should be banned.

Godenot praticamente apresentou o jogo ao Brasil. Mesmo que ele não tenha focado muito no jogo, todos os youtubers brasileiros grandes do jogo começaram a jogar por causa dele. Eu só tenho a agradecer.

The only issue in 2022 is that the grind for axes and wood isn’t as rewarding, because it’s easy to get with free exploits and everyone has “rare” items. The only thing keeping the game going is the ability to express creativity.

i really hope this helps. you can really tell recently that defaultio is starting to care for the game again. hundreds of bug fixes, and this game to TRY and stop exploiters, atleast a little bit. glad to see him caring for the game again, been like 4 or 5 years since he has,

Two years later, Lumber *is* dying. It's sad to see such a great game slow down, especially with it recently hitting 1 BILLION visits. You can tell Defaultio wants to quit updating, but I think he's slowing down gradually to a halt to prevent the entire fanbase from going after him immediatly.

Defaultio still adds gifts but most of them are just reskins or axes with diferent types of cuting speed for spasific trees

I first started playing when the Beta Axe was still in the game (I STILL have it btw). It was by far my favorite roblox game, I would play for hours back then. I now play Oaklands, a much more modern game but part of me wants to go back to LT2

this is really well made i'm impressed. i just wish that the halloween events wouldn't be exploited because i never got any spook or sinister but this isn't the place to talk about that. this was really nice and i didn't know about alot of this stuff.

I doubt anyone remembers in 2012 the game that kicked off Lumber jack tycoon called Tree Simulator and it was always bugged where you couldn't cut down half of the tree's but for it's time was really fun and time consuming

before i even mention anything about lumber tycoon, i first just want to talk about how amazing this video, good narrating, you shows lots of photos of things and graphics to keep the viewer entertained, absalutely awesome and now about lumber tycoon, i honestly think if the glitches werent a thing, exploiters were gone, and defaultio was pushing updates, it would be a top page game, i can understand why he doesnt want to continue it, it an old project of his and hes probably just very exhausted and has moved on from it and has simply lost motivation

i remember as a kid when they had had the red pumpkins i bought like 150 and brought them to my base and my brother (who shared the base with me) overwitted the base because "its to messy" im still salty but love the game
