a very big easy fix to a LOT of the progression issues is making limited items non limited, like all the tree specific axes and the eyeball

I think also less exclusive items would help the game. I think that current game progression would be amazing if axes like the fire axe or the cave axe would be made non-limited time only and would be a great option for players to grind towards instead of just getting a ruky and being set for the rest of the game.

imagine if defaultio made lumber tycoon 3 with proper progression, new map, trees and items, gamepasses and finally fix or make duping & exploiting way harder or impossible. I would so come back to the game haha

I think most of these ideas are beneficial, except for the power-to-build stage system. As a longtime LT2 player for 7+ years, I've realized that the power to build is essential. However, I believe the game pass should be removed, and players who already own it should receive limited items for each slot. Your stage progression system is a good idea, but I think the prices should be higher, and there should be an option for a 1-unit build option. For example, a 25% decrease in wood use could cost 95k, a 50% decrease 315k, and a 75% decrease 745k. However, I believe there should be challenging tasks for players to attempt after reaching these stages, similar to the green box challenge. To earn the 1-unit building option, players would have to complete these difficult challenges, making it a prestigious achievement for skilled players.

The game needs more puzzles like the shrine of sight or the maze. And explanations for things like the message in bob's shack (be in shape to be great) under the shelf.

The people who bought the power to build for the old price should still have the 1 unit blueprint bc they wasted their money if it was price dropped and nerfed

We need new Blueprints. I have an idea, Defaltio should make an "elevator conveyor" so that wood could be moved strait up. The tilted conveyor is so slow.

I like the Ideas in the Video. I also wish there are new axes obtainable like the way the Rukiryaxe ax is. As well as new high money trees. I don't like it that the Candy Axe's purpose is unknown, and always am looking for something connected to it in the game.

I totally agree, despite the lack of progress with players and the game's economy, there's is a massive issue within lumber tycoon 2. within issues of exploiters/hackers but, the issue believe every single lumber player had to go through making there bases is "beggars", beggars within lumber tycoon 2 is pretty frustrating. people would come up to your base and start begging for axes, money, etc. Its so much anger with these kind of people that really want to boost there progress of becoming like this big player that soon will ran into these people are just mad hard getting through your trading, buying, even building. look if I am so wrong just tell me. this is one of my biggest issues I ever have as a lumber player within the community and just because I have like 18.4milion in-game currency (didn't really earn this lol) doesn't mean you just come up to me and say things you really need. pro tip: if your ever try to do this kind of stuff, just take a minute and try your darn best to cut those trees down and sell. there no kind of need to actually look for people to give you things. go what I went though, I started off probably the same people do on lt2.

I agree with this it will make the game way better and their should be new wood added or biome because I know people would like to build with black wood and other dark and light color wood.

The beauty of LT2 lies within the fact that its not a woodcutting game but a business game. Limited items every holdiay are for a reason and that being the very diverse teading community. Through Trading, progression can be very fast based on your skills. Only downside atm is dupers. We need a fix for that.

on the bluepring filling there should be a stage 4 which cost 1.5M to get and you will get a 100% reduction and the blueprint gamepass will get you to the stage 3 and make a discount so the stage 4 will cost 750k instead of 1.5M

i am pretty sure defaultio just thought of these old tycoon games while making the progression of this game. If you want to have fun with the game there is litteraly 2 types of "fun" stuff to do, art (building, wires, electronic stuff etc.) and trading (the one i play this game for) and even to get into both of these you either need some duped items or grind it yourself, for art, lest say you want to build a neat house, lets think about the price; you will either grind a #### ton of wood or plank you want for your house, this will either take your at least 3-5 hours depending on what wood you use, your equipment, your pacing etc. etc. (presuming that this house is something inbetween a small-medium house) OR you can spend 10 million for golden bp, if you are into trading or have a reliable source, some wood for 500k up to 1.5m based on how much wood you use, and your time to plan and build it. If you are lazy like me it could take days. This game is just not fun until a point where you can easily afford stuff you want to make or have the time to do so I mean you might be into grinding then idrk, good for you lol

All welcome and needed changes, was originally grinding for powers back in 2021 but eventually burned out, grinding lava/ice got boring really quick. The reward might've been worth it but after hitting 1m I just stopped. I like grinding but 10m without trading ain't easy to get. The money yielded while grinding lava wood literally got cut in half after wall-climbing got patched too.

It doesent help that there are hackers that think they are funny by teleporting all ur presents and sawed trees into the water or on their plot and be toxic after it

I've had an idea for a feature that could be pretty convenient, where you can grab multiple logs (depending on their mass) and couple them with a blue wire for easier and more convenient transportation. It would work best with smaller ones that don't give much and just make you go back and forth,

8:27 I think spookyneon should be more than 420 per unit, i'd say about 2,000. Think about this I have found 11 spookyneons in over 700 spooky trees found total in about 3 years, and it's the rarest tree in the game by far, and I am really lucky with spookyneons too. It should be more rewarding to hunt for spook trees because there is quite litteraly no point to right now because of the economy, it's available for 1 month of the year, rare as crap, and doesn't even sell for the same amount as frost wood, but otherwise I like it lol sorry for making u read allat

It's sad to see that because Defaultio isn't updating the game anymore, the community needs to handle things. It makes sense though if you think about it. If Defaultio doesn't want to update, but the players want new content, they need to handle this themselves.

I think these changes would be great especially because the change the pricerange a lot but they would need to be added with a total money wipe meaning every player would lose his money or at least have a Maximum of 1 million left meaning the trading economy would match the rest of the games pricing.

4:00 actually any wood can fit on starter sawmill, move the sawmill, put the wood where it was the green part, then quit moving the sawmill, the wood stays even if too big

in my opinion cave crawler should be expensive since you go trough a lot of trouble of getting in and out and spend 800 money on travelling and the cave entrance steepness and getting stuck in the maze severely limit your trailers so its hard to get loads of it at once.

What If Defaultio does a collab with Chillthrill709, Soybeen, and other people who wants to help make the game more secure and stuff, like better base invisible wall, better trading for anti scam, and anti exploiting griefers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Everything is good apart from changing power to build for players who already own it via in game money or robux, if they ever do something like that they should give everyone who got it with in game money a full refund minus the 124,000 stage 3 costs and they will have it without needing to do the puzzle all over again. As somone who bought power to build with robux I would be furious if they removed it, I paid for 1 unit building not some item. It took me weeks of playing pls donate to get the 700 robux for it.

Me personally I feel like getting frost wood is too time consuming. Usually for me I just grind volcano wood, which isn’t that hard, and I could probably get 100k in maybe around 1-2 hours, but that’s just my method do what ya want.

Lets be honest most of us literally just beg to obtain stuff and make buildings in LT2 the progression really do suck

Now I may be very late to this but I say a supply and demand system would be good like certain woods sometimes would be valued higher randomly on maybe a daily rotation or every hour or so this would get players to go around the map and not grind the same wood hard to get woods would be automatically higher value even not accounting the higher or lower bonus or debuff.

I would love for the game to be updated but is there enough people still playing to get an update of this magnitude

Defaultio needs to add more stuff. New axes, new stuff for bases, new trees... This is to ensure that players will have something to play with. You can even add a prestige system, where players just need to sacrafice some wood, money and base, and get a authetic base upgrade, along with some multiplier. You may even add perks for prestige points, that help you progress. This will add some replayability to the game, as now you have to build up things from scratch for getting good benefits. This will 100% make players a little more engaged in the game.

The thing is, that people who spent 10 million on the golden blueprint HAS to be refunded.

The whole cheap/rare wood need to be rebalance and more easier to achieve if imma be honest. The physics engine isn't the best with this game and so you can end up glitching and bugging out with wood in your vehicle which makes the game really tedious and repetitive. To think this game is supposed to be fun and relaxing, clearly I was wrong.

I really like LT2 but oaklands just surpassed LT2 in terms of building ( more customizable, more choices and almost no limit) and the Oakland is still in alpha phase
