So true about the hindrance of having more than one machine. I've gone through so many set ups, buying and selling stuff. But now I've landed on just Syntakt (and a Prophet Rev 2 for polyphonic patches... My biggest problem with Syntakt 😢) but it's liberating having just one groovebox/drum machine to focus in on. ❤️‍🔥

But he does have a massive studio..so I think it's both ends. Have a ton of stuff to work with, but be prepared to zero in on one thing, thats' what I've found, even though I have a lot less than him, but definitely a lot more than just one or two devices.

Can def hear your 90s rave scene influence. I remember when I heard dnb (was jungle back then).. was prob 1996. Didn’t really like electronic music til I heard dnb. Been a drummer for life so those drums really grabbed me by the balls. Thought this is the coolest thing I ever heard ever. Here we are almost 30 or so years later .. still bangin dnb. Moved over to Techno when techno got hard and industrial with Reese bases and shit. But still Respect and love from Chi town 👊
