Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, is where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, and featuring the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade, respectively, “Elemental” releases on June 16, 2023.

The character animation for both Ember and Wade is simply mesmerising all because they don't have skeletons underneath them. They can be expressive and fluid (please excuse the pun).

The second Fern opened his mouth I realized it was Joe Pera’s voice and I jumped out my seat in excitement and started thrashing my living room while watching this clip over and over like it was the first time ever hearing Baba O’Riley by The Who.

Not exactly the strongest dialogue or jokes, but I do enjoy the wacky ways the characters move and how they fit their respective element. Ember is quick and sporadic, Wade moves with a constant but soft flow and Fern is slow and lumbering, like a rock

is more hatred at Disney for their lackluster works as of late, i don't get why people are acting on bad faith to Pixar tho, i mean Lightyear was a mess sure, but what about their other recent movies? Soul, Luca and i would even argue Turning Red were really good, so i don't get why people are acting like Pixar is falling from grace
