As a long time viewer (even watching the original elemental reaction guide), I don't think I'll be learning anything new (at least not yet). But darn it I'm still gonna watch because it's good background noise, in case I DO end up learning something and because it'll support you to do stuff that I love seeing you do.

This guide is really really well donw.There are a lot of clips and little animations that really home in on the idea being taught. Zajef actually feels like a teacher. Its amazing how well you explained these concepts. I know it well but i wouldn't know how to explain it to people XD

As someone who just started playing Genshin a month and a half ago I’ve been looking for as much useful/practical info as I could find. I’m the type of person who completely dives into something head first and immediately tries to learn everything from basics to advanced as quick as possible. And I have to say your channel has been a god send. By far the best at explaining and laying everything about the game out. I learn things in a certain way, where I have to learn every detail possible and once I do everything fits together perfectly and I fully understand everything from top to bottom. I usually never find a channel let alone the info itself for me to learn in this way. Thank you so much, saying you’ve been helpful to me would be an understatement.

Already well acquainted with reactions on surface lvl but maaan, I just love hearing you go all sciency and mathy breaking down these reactions bit by bit

as a veteran player that started in 1.0 i surprisingly learned new things from this video.

For the algorithm APOGUS

I'm really loving this series. I don't think anyone else has made a guide that covers both the basics for new players, as well as high level theorycrafting.

"how to tell I'm ayaka main without telling I'm ayaka main" Add to the Frozen on Unfreezable, that way it works is that if you apply "Frozen" on unfreezable, it removes Frozen Aura (thus, also the cryo aura) leaving them no aura at all which makes you lose even the 20%(cryo aura) and 15% (cryo resonance) crit buff. You can test this in game with Ayaka(or any other cryo) having 65% crit rate. In theory, they should crit all her burst but if you put kokomi, you would notice that some hits doesn't crit. Last time I tested for Ayaka was around 2-3 ticks not crit-ing on 65% (100% if having the bonus from cryo). Its not much a problem for kokomi as Hydro since her hydro application is just "ok" and you have shenhe/kazuha off field applying cryo anyway combine with ayaka Normal/Charge strings but you do have to keep this in mind when using chars like xingqiu/yelan who has faster hydro than kokomi that they will keep removing the cryo aura. You can choose to not use kokomi E when you don't need heal and make her pure TTDS bot (losing TOTM tho). With Ayaka, she can generally deal with bosses even with her standard (more like premium 4-5* team) freeze team (ayaka-kokomi-shenhe-kazuha) and if you are dedicated to being Ayaka mains, you would inherently learn timings on enemy when to learn their DPS point.

Could you please go into more detail on overload reaction? How it interacts with shields, how much knockback it does, how big is the effective aoe, can it activate velocity damage by smashing enemies into walls? You're doing amazing job with those videos and i'd love to see you go even deeper into the reactions.

I have a confession .. as someone who playing this game since launch, i learned 3 new things from this video : 1- that electro doesn’t mess up hydro reactions and in turn leading me to learn about the second thing 2- the existence of overvape 3- I didn’t know about the existence of vape/melt reactions as a chain reaction of swirling 2 elements.. thats crazy to me .. i want to know that melt/vape dmg is based on what ? Which character contributes to its dmg and is the only way to increase it is by EM/level? It doesn’t work like normal melt/vape which take crit/atk/dmg%/abilities multiplayers right ? Thank you for video, I learned a lot.

Knockback from overloaded isn't that bad on for example Lisa and yanfei because they're always going to hit, but it may be a problem for yoimiya cuz she might miss when they have knockback

In Electrocharged, hydro and electro Crit>EM, anemo always triggers so EM>Crit. In Overvape, Pyro always triggers so EM = Crit. In Melt/Vape, carry Crit>EM Learned that forwards Melt works if u have Freeze aura (hydro and cryo supports) as long as the Pyro carry doesn't shatter. Wheras forwards Vaporize cannot work cause the Hydro carry needs too much Pyro.

does there exist a ranking of the different team comps? it's mentioned in the vid that there are stronger options than raiden national - so i assume there's at least a rough tier list of team comps? i'd be useful to know if i'm shooting myself in the foot by picking one team over another, even if they're both 'meta'. like yelan xq xl bennett vs raiden national, etc

If xingqiu and yelan would be both cryo units would that make pyro carries that relied on vape like hutao stronger or weaker?

If you swirl a frozen enemy are you swirling Cryo? Same question for infusions (Kazuha's burst, Sucrose burst and so on).

I have a lil question about overloaded, it's pyro+electro, and you say it can't carry a team... My brother uses Raiden as Electro apply and then DPS with Yanfei... Technically the fact that it throws the enemies away doesn't matter on that combo, maybe? Cause Yanfei attack with a distance... Idk if I'm explaining myself 😅 I love this videos btw, it's helping me to understand the reactions better

No way... so thats how a melt team or vape team works.. As a geo main learning lots about things that are not shields

Personally, I'd like to see more in-depth explanations for reactions that aren't as popular. Crystallize, Shatter and Overload specifically. In Overload's case, considering it's called an "explosion", does it deal AoE damage? And, if so, does it have quadratic scaling (or at least double, like swirl)? Like a Pyro infused Venti Burst with Raiden E active sounds like it'd be nuts in that case.. In case of Shatter, it deals physical damage, but does it get affected by phys res and shred? Is there any way at all to build Shatter and how could you design a Shatter character to be at least viable? In case of Crystallize, how does it work with other existing shields? Does the Crystallize shield take priority? (I doubt it does, because it wouldn't be a bad reaction in that case, but if it did it'd be at least somewhat valuable)
