Elena is the best female tennis player right now. Screw the rankings. Elena does not hit as hard as Sabalenka but she is more consistent and a few points better than Sabalenka. Swiatek is really good but Elena has her #. It may take a year or more for Swiatek to figure that out.

Or maybe she will get there even sooner….

​@@benthekeeshond545 I agree with this analysis. I admire Sabalenka for the improvements she's made in defence and - especially - in getting her double faulting under control. That said, I can't bring myself to love her tennis. It's a bit too crash-bang-wallop for me, and she's so bloody *LOUD* with it. Rybakina has it in her to overhaul Sabalenka, and she's incredibly quiet on court, and mercifully drama-free. I love Iga dearly, and think she's an incredibly impressive young woman in many ways. Her serve is a major Achilles heel, however, and is the main reason why she's quite likely to be overtaken as World No. 1 by the end of this tourney. She needs to strengthen her serve, especially her 2nd serve, and I'd love to see her bring back some of the variety that she used to have in her game. She's got the talent to play any shot, let's see her do it.

These tournaments want people to come, and then they charge these outrageous amounts for food and drinks. I went to the US Open and had dinner at the restaurant inside Arthur Ash Stadium the steak House. .. It was average but $169 for a steak for two, and then sides were like $18 for a dish of mash potatoes. Never again! Charleston- $18 for a salad , it was a little cheaper overall but overpriced food and long lines. It's terrible how they inflate the price.
