Welcome to our second video from Traveling to Kenya in 2023. In this video we are visiting the Nairobi Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center, which might be the best thing to do in Nairobi in one day.
The Sheldrick Elephant orphanage Nairobi takes in abandoned baby elephants and nurses them back to health until they are ready to be released back into the wild. Every day, they feed the baby elephants and allow tourists to come and visit. The Giraffe Center, located in Nairobi National Park right next to Giraffe Manor, gives you an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Endangered Rothschild Giraffe, and you even get to feed them!
We toured with Get your Guide and had an amazing experience. This is definitely a must do tour in Nairobi.

If you have time fly to Lamu Island it's one of the most breathtaking places we have. Or you can visit my hometown Watamu. It's also a coastal town with so many activities to do

Is feeding 11am-12pm? Where do you book to see the elephants?

Sanctuary Code Of Conduct Rules #1: Feed the giraffes 🦒 1 pellet at a time using your thumb and index finger 🤏. Kelly : proceeds to dump handful directly on the giraffes tongue 👅 lol! 😆 Looked like Kevin came close to having to sleep in the elephant barracks after the "your head is bigger than mine" comment! 😯lol!
