Forced to toil, heavy loads upon my back, Starved and weakened, my body cried in woe. Bullhooks, instruments of torment, did attack, From those who should have shown kindness’s glow. In Buddhism’s realm, where compassion is held high, Yet I, the sacred elephant, suffered in despair. But I endured, recalling Bodhisatta’s noble perfections, His sacrifice, a lesson for my pain to bear. Compared to Bodhisatta’s sacrifices, mine were small, No grudge, no bitterness within me takes hold. In forgiveness and gratitude, I stand tall, Love I bestow, to hearts once cold. Muthu Raja, the elephant with a forgiving heart, A mantra of forgiveness, my heart does sing. Through duty fulfilled, I have reached closer my goal, Forgiving those who caused suffering, my offering. Saksurin don't come back to Srilanka again.

I am so sad to know this news. I am very happy that it’s back to my homeland. The Buddhism ☸️ ; the Buddha teaches us to have the mercy to other and be enlightened by his teaching. He had not taught us to attach to anything. What these monks done were the opposite ways. They used the elephants to find the money and reputation. It was sad that the monks done this. The ignorance hided the true wisdom. The belief without the true wisdom brings the worst thing happened. They believed that the elephants with beautiful ivory is the best characteristic to do this jobs. These elephant had to train so hard everyday for 20 years and had to do this jobs for 30 times a year. So sad that this ignorance and this belief make human abused the animals. These is our elephant. Thais people really love an elephant and we take care them so well. It won’t be the issues if they done this to their elephants. Thai people won’t concern on it but these elephant is our beloved one so we have to protect him.
