agreed, Zeppelin's sound was the sum of its parts....Thats the beauty of the band in that each member was so damn good at what they did they combined like Voltron. It was Pages band in that he intitiated the group and together with Peter Grant shaped their direction. JPJ wrote his fair share of Zepps classics and was no slouch in the studio either, tis worth noting that JPJ had been studio session player long before Page got his start.

Yep, you're right. Tile allows sound to bounce quite nicely, it kind of adds a nice natural "reverb" if you will

its not about crazy drums or crazy riffs and what not, its about doin whats right for the song, and what Dave does is perferct to my ears

I definitely think he has his own sound and that he does it VERY well. No one else sounds like Dave on drums, maybe Taylor Hawkins, but that's because I imagine Dave still writes the drum parts
