I love your new rug! Your porch is beautiful. I’m about to do the same thing here in PA. We have a screened in back porch that is my sanctuary. So I got a new rug this year from TEMU. Husband is going to power wash the porch today. Can’t wait! Happy porch sitting!❤️❤️❤️!

😂😂 I was optimistic when you put the first batch of flowers in. Then the second one went in and I had to giggle. I like over filling but once they bloom they really need some space. Looks great out there ❤

Your pori turned out really cute, and it didn't take very long 😅. There may be too many plants in that particular pot😂. Let's see if your motivation helps, I think between housework and all that needs done outside it's a little bit too much for little old me to handle, but I'm trying.😊 I did put some hostas and some dianthus in the ground along the side of the house😅 by the back porch. i happen to think it turned out very well 😊😊 Love you much, hope to see you and Mylah Brooke soon!!!❤❤❤

I love a good porch refresh. The colors are beautiful. You really do need a rocker so you can rock the baby. As for the flowers, just wait and see. They may just grow and spill all down the sides of the pot and be really pretty. Have a happy weekend. Love ya. ❤

All you need was one flower pot inside your pot. Your plant will grow thru the summer. Remove one and replant into another pot.

Did a power wash of my screened in back porch a few weeks ago to get rid of all the tree pollen and rearranged some of the furniture. Looks so good and now I am on the lookout for a tall upright fern to put into my ceramic pot and plant stand.

New to your channel. I live in West Virginia and I mean in the Boondocks lol I would love to be able to create an outdoor area to relax. Currently, we have many animals who visited such as raccoons, fox, coyotes, skunks and possum. I am never out there at night. I think a screened in porch would be great for my home 🏡 Oh how did I forget...the Black Bears 🐻

You needed to spray the pots with Shellac first. I learned that the hard way. Anything shiny needs to be sprayed with Shellac first.

Great job on the porches! It's fun to see you clean the outside of your home instead of the inside all the time. Those iris's in your yard are gorgeous too! Overfilling the pot by your mother in law's door is fine. Pots are meant to be overfilled.

when you are spray painting items, go back and forth in a pendulum motion, doing a light coat, then when dry go back with same motion and do a second coat. There will be no runs or fish eyes.. and you will use less paint..

Hey Mandy - I love it!! Everything looks so nice...I don't think that's too many flowers but wait & let them tell you...If they start to look sick then split them...I use to get real plants and flowers but the wildlife around my house thought they were snacks.. Now I use faux ferns on my porch and they look so real you cannot tell the difference..I still need to powerwash and set up the patio but the weather is so up & down. Once it's consistent I will get back out there...

Keep your hanging ferns and flowers happy, vibrant, and green! I dissolve 1 tablespoon of plain Epsom salt (check the pharmacy aisle-you don't want the scented bath kind) in a pitcher of hot water. I like to stir my salt water with a rubber spatula to mix it well, then pour it over thirsty ferns and flowers. I spoke to a good friend at one of our plant nurseries, and he swore by this! Your porch looks fantastic! To keep your outdoor cushions sanitized and allergy-free - use only Lysol Laundry Liquid Additive Free and Clear, Tide Hygienic Pods Free and Clear, and Downy Fabric Softener Free and Gentle. I use this trio of products for EVERYTHING = bedding, sheets, clothes, shower curtains/liners, EVERYTHING!!!! It's fantastic and keeps your clothes, bedding, etc., clean, germ-free, and your skin happy. AND THAT CATERPILLAR IS EVIL - THEY STING, AND THEY ARE POISONOUS. DON'T STEP ON THEM, AND WATCH BOHDI!

This might be a silly question. But when the season is done, do you keep the flowers/ferns and try to save them through the winter? Or do you throw them away and try again? I never know and always feel like a terrible plant owner when they die in the winter and I can't regrow them in the summer because Idk what other people do with theirs 😅
