Appreciate the "how to". For those of us who prefer the look and feel warm white in the 2200-2600K range, this is the range of the original CX5 bulbs shown (probably around 2400K). K = Kalvin temperature. A bright white LED is much higher K rating and for some older eyes can be uncomfortable. The K rating will be shown on the package.

Thank you very much I had a good idea how to do this 'cause i've done it on previous cars. But im always afraid of breaking those little plastic tabs 😅 So now seeing how they works i'm really confident I will switch those tonight.

I have debated doing this in my cx5 kf however the incandescent are actually really bright and give a nice even warm light. Still undecided.

Thanks for the tips, i just replaced the vanity/mirrors/ceiling/trunk. It's so much better & brighter. Have you changed the plate lights?

Which color wires from window switch powers the lighting for the doors, and it appears you have LED light reflection on the side mirrors, doesn't that interferer with side mirror vision?
