I think the thing I like about NATION is that it might’ve been like what Kanye was seemingly trying to do with Yandhi where it would’ve been a opposite/sister album to Yeezus. I imagine NATION would’ve been a more up beat album than DAMN and would’ve had rivaling themes. (Like how some of the tracks on DAMN were named after Sins, tracks on NATION could’ve been named after Virtues.)

The rock inspired album is the one I wish he would’ve released 😔 I’m not even a rock fan but knowing the energy Kendrick puts into hard hitting beats, I can only imagine he was mad while making that album. Mad at life and the world. Maybe it was a good thing we didn’t get it because of the timing and the pandemic but man I wish he would at least drop a track from it

hot take: most of Kendrick's unreleased music gets released by Baby Keem. Before that, I think he was responsible for most of Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock's albums. TDE was basically a cast of different artists for Kendrick to release music under. When the artists available no longer matched the new music he was creating, he left TDE and started PgLang with Keem.

I’m a bit curious about most of his mixtapes before Overly Dedicated and that had been floating around up to his GKMC days. Most of his mixtapes besides OD and Untitled Unmastered are rarely talked about, besides C4 for its “Bitch, I’m In The Club”, which is apparently considered his worst song by many people. He apparently has one called “Compton State Of Mind”, but I’ve only seen it get brought up twice. I think someone uploaded the whole thing to KZfaq. But, with all of this talk about Kendrick being super popular, a perfectionist, and “the best to ever do it”, you’d think more people would be talking about these projects. Are they really just that bad that people decided to forget about most of it?

Easily spent 2k to go see this man as a bucket list item. Been a fan for over a decade since I was a teenager and now that I have a stable job with good cash flow this was my first big purchase. I heard so much about how he treats his fans (not refunding vinyls that ship months late and are shattered) but I guess I chalked it up to having a bad team. After this, I truly feel he resents his fans. Whether it’s because of fame, anxiety, etc he resents us. Doesn’t resent the money we earn him though

And when that clip of him came out where he brings some drunk white girl on stage to rap, knowing damn well there was a ton of N bombs- it just didn’t sit right with me when he stops the show and checks her. While you wait for that video because it would take some time: -Early versions of TCD with songs such as Hey Mama, 18 Years (Gold Digger), Heavy Hitters, Apologise, Ni**as Gossip, Wack Ni**as and Drop Dead, despite being released the album changed a lot. -Good Ass Job 2008, it evolved into 808's and Heartbreak. -Winter Spring Summer Fall, in a 2008 french interview Kanye stated his next album would be titled Winter Spring Summer Fall and it will be splitted in 4 sections with 3 songs per season. -Good Ass Job 2009, it evolved into My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. -Thank God For Drugs, evolved into Yeezus -Yeezus II and Lost Yeezus EP, turned into SHMG. -So Help Me God (and Chiraq but that title/project lasted less than 1 week), turned into Swish. -Swish, wich would evolve into Waves and finally become The Life Of Pablo -TurboGrafx16, scrapped album with videogame sample and trap influences -Wolves, collab album with Drake scrapped in 2017 after the beef started with Lift Yourself an later Daytona. -Cruel Winter, G.O.O.D Music album, sequel of Cruel Summer that got scrapped. -Love Everyone (or that name with Hit), scrapped after the rant on TMZ and it evolved into Ye with a lot of changes in the subject, mainly going into mental health rather than a rant at everything like the songs DJ Khaled Son or Cops Shot The Kid made at the time. -Watch The Throne 2, nothing is known about it except the fact that Ye announced it on Twitter. -Good Ass Job 2018/2019, collab album with Chance The Rapper scrapped around 2019 iirc -Yandhi, we all know about this one so I'll say it evolved slowly into Jesus Is King. -Jesus Is King II, remix album produced by Dr. Dre using the songs of the original album, including Aftermath artists like Eminem and Anderson .Paak. -God's Country, earliest Donda version, evolved into Donda: With Child and finally just Donda -Donda 3 (aka 8AM), thank God this never happened, it started back in january 2022 because Kanye wanted a Donda trilogy but he went with the whole wlm stuff and forgot about Donda 3, still may release but I doubt it. -WAR, collab album with no I.D. and James Blake, scrapped last year after Ye's comments.
