Just a reminder with collecting the armor set from the Ice Palace, If you have any glitches afterwards or map rendering problems, just make a save and then fully close the game/app and relaunch it. This can sometimes even happen from just warping to and from Hort.

Great video. I got this game on the Microsoft Store (for Xbox SS) as it was reduced to £11.24 (75% off) recently - despite some of the glaring bugs like randomly falling through the floor and the game being fooked from there on without a hard reset, it runs nicely 99% of the time. I went in head first without guides and got wrecked. A lot. It was great to explore the world and figure out how the game works but learned quite early that spamming grenades were quite a good cheese-strat.

This waa SOOO helpful ALTHOUGH i do not advise this for beginners since its wayy better to play the game for a bit and understand evedything then get OP i did this with the help of your vid but i was already 17 hours in before that also cant wait for elex 2 once i do finish elex 1

what about buying a chem that adds 50percent ranged damage? edit showed at end but you can but that chem as well from outlaws dont have to join as i recall..

@@LegendaryCarry no if you stick to the wall on the left, you can slide in. Conversely, if you stand on that rock wall, all the adds inexplicably run down the hill, presumably to get to that wall from the top. Gives you plenty of time to get all the goodies inside. I'll be looking out for further videos from ya bro, the format(especially taking the running out) is very smooth and easy to follow. How do you not have more subscribers? I bet if u did more mainstream games like fortnite(blah) youd be massive bro.

I have a notification for a comment but can’t see it, I’m thinking that’s because you fixed the issue. But if not, you’ll just want to fully close the game, reload your save from before getting into the ice palace, and try it again. I’ve hit that wall you mentioned and after retrying it worked fine :)

Hi Justin, this is due to a loading issue. You will have to fully close the game. Not just to the main menu, close back to Xbox screen and then go back in. Hopefully this helps

Hey there. I recently grabbed Elex on sale and was wondering if these Elexit/chemistry exploits are still working? I grabbed a bunch of the weapons in the video, i might grab the armor next but i cant seem to figure out the exploit, i think it may have been patched? Thanks for the great video man

They have stopped all updates to this game. Any exploit I show, or others will still work. If it’s the money you’re talking about, that requires you to mash the buy option (even when you have no money to pay) and then go up and down the menu of items for sale rapidly. If I recall, it works best to lower items the merchants sell menu to stacks of 3 or 4, so the question doesn’t pop up asking you how many you want

no patch was released. Make a save and fully close the game. It’s a loading issue is all. Your game just needs to be closed and opened

This method will jot work on ps4 as the safe area where the cold damage is not applied has no floor collision for you to stand on

Reload the area and try again, it does have collision. The game is just really buggy out there with how it loads. Takes a couple saves and full close/reload of the application. I was doing this on ps4 prior to buying the 5.

what does dmg type really do? is it any better than regular dmg?

Hey, personally I think it would come down to your preferred play style. For example, a poison weapon will do tick damage over time, ice damage will build up frost on enemies and slow them. It also can change how much damage you inflict on certain enemies, as they will have different resistances to the elements. So if you come across an enemy that’s weak to fire, it would be ideal to switch to a fire sword. I didn’t really touch on it because luckily no enemy is immune to regular old damage

@@doboshinho7497 I believe lightning is really good against machine / robot type enemies. I’d say to keep both if you can, maybe do a save close by a cleric robot and test the damage of then two so you have a better idea. All this talk is making me want to jump back onto Elex 1 haha

The more expensive the items in the merchant's inventory, the more money you'll make from the glitch. So if you permanently buy his expensive items like the war bow, you won't make as much money with the glitch. But the reverse is also true, if you sell him an expensive item like the snake bite sword you can steal from the shop lady in Golyat, that adds 3k every time you do the glitch. Sell him any weapons you don't need or won't use. Then you'll make a ton of money each time. Also, you want to dupe when you're empty on cash. If you're already at the max you can get from the dupe, you won't double it by duping again, you'll just stay at the max. But if you're under that, or better yet broke, your dupe will get you back to max money that shopkeepers inventory can get you. Again, sell him as much unneeded expensive weapons you can to increase that.

Don’t worry about buying the war bow and losing a good way of making money… buy his whole inventory and upgrade all the weapons and any others to level 3… sale to him and u can get a shit ton more money…

Hey, sorry to hear the troubles man. This is probably due to the game being a little glitchy when you go far out to the edges of the ice palace. Where ever you can safely stand still without falling, make a save. And then fully close your game application. once you reload your save the game will then render everything in properly and should be able to continue without issues.

Luckily there’s other teachers to find for that. Maybe you have to do a quest or two to get his good books. I recall he was after a special sword that you can steal from the breakers leader house. Chat with him and see if you can do that maybe

@LegendaryCarry I figured it out. I had on a piece of gear that raised my dexterity by 5 points. When you go in to buy the skills, it shows you're all good but then doesn't give the learn option. I took the piece off and added the skill points, and it finally took it.

Hahahaa I did this on XboxseriesX right now I only took the armor, after that I teleported right away to town and now the game is broken🤣🤦. Found a solution exit the game then continue and everything is back to normal and u still keep the armor set🙂

Are you going to exploit Eliex 2 as well ?? I'm pretty old school and honest towards all the games I play ... I will rather slog it out and still get to the top ..... By the way without any exploitation if you join the clerical faction most of their range attack weapons can pull off what you just did without all the exploitation With all due respect I would never enjoy any game with mods, cheats or any form of exploitation......I'm saying this with much respect .....I know your intentions are meant well ...But not running the full mile in the way it should be run is not my style. .....Nevertheless thanks for your time and effort.

Thanks! I plan on making lots of Elex 2 content. I will be trying to cater to everyone, so I won’t focus exclusively on exploits. You should hopefully see lots of item locations and walk throughs from me. With Elex 1, the game is older now so basically everything’s already been done. That was why I decided on making the two videos showing how a player can get overpowered from starting fresh

I wouldn’t say it’s skipping all the content, you’re just over powered for your play though. Game will still take like 20 hours to beat after this. When it comes to gamers, To each their own man. Some people enjoy them as intended, and some like playing through the game totally stacked. - For myself, once I beat a game a couple times normally, it’s fun to just screw around like this
