Is it only men that get excited about videos like this?

Just came across this channel…..what a gem. This is one of those products that you didn’t realize you needed. Had I known about this, I NEVER would’ve purchased my pressure washer, which is overkill for my needs, and a PITA to use.

I see this video was posted a couple weeks ago but I just happened upon it today. First I would like to say that I do see the benefits of a quality hose sprayer even at the cost of the Eley. I have noticed that as I get older (I’m 70 now) I get lazier. I have a very nice electric pressure washer but getting it out every time to be able to have a decent flow and pressure of water is a bit of a pain. Get it out, hook up the hose and plug it in, use it, disconnect everything, and put it away. Time consuming. My pressure washer is used for pressure washing things that need to be pressure washed to be properly cleaned. Like the sidewalk, driveway, deck, fence, etc. I have probably spent a couple hundred dollars on hose spray nozzles over the past 15 years because I have not been able to find one that delivers both the pressure and amount of water need to keep the area around my inground pool clean. I live in Florida and the upkeep around a pool is constant and an every day chore. The spray nozzles wear out after a couple years due to the amount of use and the amount of sunshine in the summer. A quality hose spray nozzle is worth its weight in gold if it will last more than 2 - 3 years. I understand people posting on here about the cost being ridiculous as everyone has different standards of cost vs utility. If you have to use a tool everyday the higher cost of a higher quality tool is worth it. If it is used once or twice a month then it obviously isn’t worth the cost. So if the people who posted that they have a pressure washer that is better or that the price is ridiculous go use your pressure washer every time or buy cheaper stuff you will have to replace every couple years. No need to post mean comments. You can simply say it’s not worth the cost to me or I prefer a pressure washer. To HonestlyOCD I say nice informative video. Could have been a little shorter if you had gone thru the entire thing as a warmup before making the video so you would know how things went together and came apart. I see myself purchasing one for the pool area to keep the concrete decking and patio stones clean. Blasting dirt, leaves, and bird poop is more satisfying with the right hose nozzle.

I love all my Eley products. I recent upgraded to their quick connects and added their swivel attachment to the end of my hose, absolutely amazing.

I got the whole Eley setup 125' hose, hose reel, this gun with both nozzles and the Eley quick disconnects with shutoff (which are 3/4" inner diameter). Everything is extremely heavy duty. It costed a lot, but no regrets.

Thank you for this. Didnt realize how much I needed to replace my annoying nozzle for washing my car. Excited to use it when I dont feel like breaking out the pressure washer.

Just received mine. Used it yesterday for the first time, and it was great. A bit heavy, but that's a small price to pay for the amazing quality.

I got tired of the big box hose end sprayers that last two years if you're lucky so I bought one that costs three times the price of the best one at big box. 7 years and still going strong. Don't have any need for one of these but I would say pay more and get something thats higher quality. Saved me a lot of headaches.

I have two of their hose reel’s. I also have that sprayer with the nozzle with the interchangeable tips. I didn’t buy a second hand held for the other head. I just put a quick disconnect right on that.

Thanks for making this video. I’ve wanted these products for years and was hesitant to buy because there was never any good reviews on them. I need them now. 😂

I like the 3 gpm as I get better penetration into the ground and 13:07 yes, you get some push or feedback from the nozzle. Quality it is. I went all in on Eley.

I put the quick connect on the heads and they switch out nicely.

been using my Eley stuff for around 5 years... welcome to the party... I use the watering tool for plants but am considering using it for my car LOL.. usually use my greenworks pressure washer tho I have heard the foam cannon does well with this...

Only thing I don’t like about it. There’s no silicon/rubber ring surrounding for drop protection on concrete or asphalt.

The gpm is the minimum pressure required to operate the screen effectively. Thats why the 4gpm feels weak as your hose is most likely not pushing enough water volume. So use the lower gpm screens w/ lower water pressure. Cool setup, will check them out!

I ended up getting the Eley setup too… Did you know that you can use the quick connects on the head of the nozzle itself and just swap out the different heads? That’s what I ended up doing, one nozzle and then a quick connect on the shower head and quick connect on the fan spray. Boom easy

Great video! Hey, on the handheld... do the QDs fit the threads post valve? Im asking because if the threads are thr same as the hose side, the QDs attached to the heads would save a lot of time when needing different spray intensities. Only caveat is the QDs would need to withstand any pressure increases, but in theory it should be ok. Let us know!

Update….just purchased the 3 piece set for $97 and it is back ordered. I will use it for a while and provide a report on any issues encountered. If you never see another post about this item from me you can safely assume I am 100% pleased with it.

You don't need teflon tape on anything with an o-ring (head of eley). But the biggest gripe I have with the eley is the low water pressure even though I have a 8 gpm outlet using the 4 gpm screen

If you’re having a hard time getting one of the GPM inserts out, lightly turn the water pressure back on a pop it out.

Don’t like having to go to the garage to get a different screen and tool, but eventually I won’t have to after they’re lost🤣

Looks like a mini fireman hose to put out fires but that 4 Gpm looks like it would make a great shower head.

can you put a quick connection on the head and the leaver in case you want to change the heads?

Makes sense if you dont actually need a pressure washer, but your normal hose isn’t cutting it. Seems like the cost of the hardware woild be offset by fuel costs for gas-operated units.

Eley is the best. I own the nozzle, spry shower kit, hoses, hose reel, and quick disconnects. The quick disconnect kits are a bit bulky but I like them because they are full flow. BTW, what kind of water pressure do you have at your house. It looks pretty high to me.

I wish I even had that much water pressure to begin with. New build house in a fast growth area and I think they limit the gpm in the new houses.

Here’s a couple of trips, since I have the same system.. if you will be using this “system” you can eliminate the male/female plus an and the shut-off. You can always control the shut off b the handle’s lever and elinminate the shut off. The plugs can be removed by just mounting the handle with its washer to the hose end, last if when you go to change the screen pattern and it gets stuck, don’t worry. Just allow some water to flow from the hose nozzle and this pushes out the screen without any hassle. IMHO I recommend getting rid of any the components you do not need with the Eley’s system to reduce weight at the hose end. This helps reducing fatigue when using it. Enjoy.

Just received one today. I don’t think I have good pressure at the house. Because my eley stream looked like yours on the first no frills nozzle you used. I don’t think it’s the nozzle. It’s the water pressure or maybe it the hose it just a standard size. It’s not a eley hose which has a larger inside diameter. I can fill a 5 gal bucket with water under 60 sec

Have you droped it yet. When you do the handle will go on and you will get a shower.

Well, went to the site and more than one item including the spray nozzle is not in stock and they have no indication how long until these things are available again. The deal breaker was they don't want to communicate with customers. No phone, no email. Too bad too as I had $200 worth of stuff in the cart.

It design just okay, it is not safety compare with stringer handles, if accidentally you drop the hose it keep spray over everywhere. The handle stringer will turn off right away when you by accident drop the hose.

Wouldn’t it have been more economical to just put a quick connect on the outlet side of the valve? That way you only had to buy the spray tip, and also add a foaming head? “No violin needed” 😂
