In today's video, we're going to test if Eley Tenex is worth the money. We'll be testing it in my Bergara B14R at 50 yards. However, it's worth noting that this is an older lot of Tenex, so I won't judge it too harshly as the results may not be optimal.
As for the rest of the equipment, it is as follows:

Different guns like different ammo. I've found expensive doesn't always mean better.

nope, in my experience SK is better in all my bench rifles. and around half the cost...

You're right. One must test as much ammo as possible and see what the different firearms prefer. And it's not always the most expensive.

The action will smooth out over time. But you have to stake the ejector if you want to fix your other problems.

This video reminded me that I enjoy your efforts in testing various 22 LR ammunition types in rifles. I often wonder, though, if you might sometimes achieve better results if you used targets with smaller, more precise aiming points. At 50 yards and even with a maximum of 25 power magnification I’m able to use targets with central diamonds that are less than 5 mm on a side. Although the scope I was using had a max magnification of 35x, when I was checking my zero recently at 50 yards my aiming point was a simple Sharpie marker dot. I’m probably not as skilled a shooter as you, but “aim small, miss small” helps me.

You are not wrong. I have target with smaller aiming points, and I can crank up the magnification, but sometimes I get distracted by seeing all the small movements too clearly. I often don't use more than around 15 times magnification. But I'll test some other targets next time I'm at the range. I have raw material for two other videos I'll post first. Welcome Back. I just saw you came back about two weeks ago (at least that is what I saw on your videos. When did you get the Bergara and how do you like it?

Yes, I was dormant for a while, but I hope I can release a video every other week, or preferably more often. It's been a long, cold winter without opportunities to shoot, and the indoor range has been closed due to necessary upgrades. I bought the Bergara just over a month ago, so I'm just starting to get to know it. Apart from the ejection issues, I have nothing but good things to say about it so far. But I've received a couple of tips on how to solve it, so we'll see.

Nothing I own shoots Eley ammo worth a 💩 I wish it did better! I also get a 25-30% failure to fire rate from Eley 😤🤬 I won't even buy it anymore, I would shoot CCi before I shot Eley. Thanks for the review!! 👍 Although, I had the best results and ignition from Eley Contact 😳😲

Yes, ignition has been a recurring problem with Eley. But accuracy has generally been good with Eley.

Insane prices on ammo. Converted to US dollars they cost 45 cents each in Norway. Not for plinking, thats for sure.

As has been stated before, it would be worth while retest this on the same target without the white stickers. And if you're shooting for groups, it's best not to shoot out the centre of the target with the first shot because then you don't have the exact same aiming point for the remainder of the group... What magnification are you using? (Usually I'm at 24-30x for 50 meters and 36x for 100.) Greetings from the Netherlands.

Hello! Thank you for your input. I've made some new targets with smaller aiming points. I have a couple of videos already edited and ready to go, and after that, I'll test the new ones. When it comes to magnification, I often find myself between 16-20. Personally, I sometimes find higher magnifications to be a bit distracting as all micro movements become so visible. By the way, I used to go to the Netherlands every year to compete in the Steel Challenge European Championship. Unfortunately, those competitions have been discontinued after the COVID times.
