Btw, forgot to add that it had an sd of 14.3 and an es of 50.7 for the first 30 rounds. Then it dropped to sd 7.1 es 28.8 for the last 20. So maybe it takes a long time to foul?

Good to know info. Talked to boomstick about it when I noticed Killough had some. Neither of us had seen anything on it. Maybe like other long range ammo - great in one rifle & OK in others. Thanks. Have a safe 4th. 👍🙏🎇🇺🇸

Thanks for the video. New school of guntubers say : It may not group better @50y but if bc is better, it will be better at "distance". We need a FX true ballistic chronograph for understand that argument.

Yeah, Kenny at DPGW is stating that as well. He has some interesting findings for sure. I might send my Garmin down range behind some AR500 steel to capture the data the numbers. My old Labradar could do it but not past 100yards. Tks for the comments!

Wow! That's too bad. Couldn't imagine spending that much for those results. I just shot SK Rifle Match for the first time this weekend and was pleased. 12 a box.

Do you notice your lilja barrel having shallow rifling? I also have the 23” an mine seem extremely shallow particularly compared to my factory CZ barrel

My rifle told me the Eley Ultra tag line : Eley ultra … you can find better , but you won’t pay more. I’ll be interested in seeing how it works with a clean bore . Great info thank you

Haven't tried this stuff yet, but I don't know why but Eley (anything) has never worked great in any my guns. Thanks for testing. I have a Lapua dealer 1 hour away from me and I get to hand pick lots of whatever he has, but you have to act fast cause he sells out quickly.

Maybe due to your headspace. With this Lilja barreled cz457 I’m using I’ve set it at an in between hs of .042”. Seems more tolerant of ammo brands. Tks for the comments

I’ve had similar results with my Bergara B-14 and Winchester 52D. Shot everything at 50 yards. My go to ammo is R-50, much better performance in both rifles for similar money. I was expecting much better performance from a premium ammo.

Perhaps. Have two other rifles to test in so I’ll get more data. Problem for me is I have many other ammos and brands shooting much better in the same rifle. I’ll keep testing. Tks for watching!

Shooting tenex at 200 yards out of my CZ 457 LRP is probably a 4-in group was my best. And no I have not been able to reduplicated it

What speed was it? My CZ 457 LRP likes between 1059-1076 but really likes 1067

Maybe try it in a different rifle, but it's not looking as good as it should. Could be because it's so new, a newer lot of it may be better. I recently had good results with sk standard plus at 100

Just curious about the lot number. Of all the Eley varieties that I have, I think one box actually has the velocity below the lot number. All the others are blank 🤷🏼‍♂️.

James the lot number is 3124-30072 No velocity info on the boxes and, as of the first release/sale you couldn't buy a specific lot number. They sold out in less that a day so maybe there was one or limited lots available?

@@Hazzbro1964 WOW! Sounds like Taylor Swift concert tickets 😂😂. I'm still choking down the thought of spending $8 a box. Finally stepped it up a bit and went $11. I was just curious about the velocity because when I was testing the Eley I was getting mixed results, but couldn't find a rated velocity on any of the boxes. I guess I'll go to their website and try to convert the metric over.

I'm 160 rds on my barrel, it has taken that to foul the barrel. Groups have been cut in half. Less flyers too. Plan to put more rds down range with it. Kept 10 on a 3" steel at 200 yards. Time will tell.

eley doesn't even believe in this ammo as it isn't using the EPS bullet. My DOPE out to 531 yards works of BC values of .118 for CCI SV, .132 for SK/Lapua and .142 for Eley EPS bullets. They aren't in the same league. Every record I have beyond 100m is with Eley's EPS.

Disappointing, maybe I'll try a box. My CZ MTR 20" shoots sub MOA at 50 meters and MOA at 100 meters using SK Rifle Match. If the group is bigger it's usually my fault.

It looks like it is bad ammo. I don't want any of that stuff. Federal auto match shoots better that that at 100 yds. than that in my 10/22.

Appears to be just like the rest of the 💩 eley is producing at the current time. I recently tested 10 lots of eley all 💩

Yet another "Long Range Ammo Claim" by 22lr ammo compaines. No better than the best shooting lot# of your current favorite match ammo. Until the bc is increased these long range ammo claims are nothing but marketing and more ammo that cant be produced fast enough. Testing at 50 and 100 yrds does nothing to prove anything but that lot# doesnt group in your rifle.

True. At this point they’re not selling by lot numbers so we’ll see. BC is surprisingly low at .112 and you’re dead on there! Will test this from 200-400 yards but don’t expect much. Thanks for the comments
