its always “why mercy” not “how is mercy” 😢

I will agree that sometimes you do need to swap but that tank was just stupid. Rushing in alone multiple times, without support and sometimes without dps just to immediately die and cause the team to hard stagger A lot of his deaths could have been avoided if he just decided to play a little slower and more with the team. Tanks are supposed to make space yes, but you cant make space when you're dead

It’s the lack of self awareness in the first game for me 😩. For one tank to have 12 deaths and the enemy tank to only have 4, and for both team’s heals to be pretty similar….i just can’t

Smh switching off mercy is not the ultimate strategy which you proved by staying mercy and being a big part of why you guys won the first game. You played great!

2 things imo 1. It is better to swap if you can play other characters but if ur best is mercy she can always work if ur tank was more self aware this game 2. I’m always excited for mercy’s new skins but tbh I wish life weaver got the lunar event skin I think it would’ve fit him better

That first game was rough. Sure the team sort of fell apart as they blamed you for not swapping off Mercy. But they also kind of ignored the enemy Widow as she seemed to just get head shot after head shot on your team with no real attempt to contest her. She just sat out in the open and no one touched her.

On second match, the echo pick seems like a bad idea. Sure they did a good job over all countering the Phara but Echo all but requires a mercy pocket. Leaving the team with nothing but a Lucio for healing. Then the Lucio swaps to ana, but gets constantly attacked while the tank pushes forward and seems to ignore whats going on behind them. Bad all around.

The Mauga feeding so hard and talking the most crap is typical OW experience (even worst when you won more fights without them in the game). But also, it's true, why on earth would someone to swap off their best hero and play something their worst at. Odds are you're going to lose even harder (also out healing the Ana in the first half while still mainly damage boosting is wild to show that Ana's skill level lol).

the first tank was just straight up getting hard diffed in every aspect possible and they found a way to blame the mercy. crazy

I felt like the first few weeks of this season in QP playing mercy was a bit of a struggle maybe cuz of mauga everyone was playing him but after his nerf it was better..

I'm not surprised that someone playing Mauga -who pretty much forcibly makes both supports have to play Ana and Kiri- is complaining about Mercy. The dude is upset he can't just walk at the enemy holding a button down all game while getting pocketed by both supports. Great matches! Always a fun watch. Sadly I've lost my Mercy skills since I took a break for quite a bit, but it's always a pleasure watching your videos.

love when ur teammates think that swapping off mercy will magically make them not get obliterated by the uncontested widow

its always hard judgement to make. but i actually agree, that mercy is not that great and even with perfect gameplay will not outvalue a cleanse or anti, if the team needs it. if you want to onetrick mercy you have to accept that you will lose some games because you just get "countered". its a bad/selfish mentality to have towards the team. but at the end of they day, we play for ourselves and the fun we want to have :) also i think all supports should have a cleanse or anti im some way. that would make it less rock, paper, scissors

personally, I think syncing the tank/dps and going with a steady comp is always a right move, but considering how bad that tank was, there would be no use in doing so. idk how he got in your elo if he kept actively feeding, and still blaming it on the supports.

Other support can win a game with 50% effort, and mercy need like 80-90% around. It's hard and not joyful like it used to be. But we mercy main just adapt to it, right? 😎

This guy gets hooked x20 times the whole match....but "I think we need to swap the mercy" How about you stop getting hooked so much! I swear. (I do get it .. other healers can mitigate a hook BUT getting hooked that much is on him)
