I have the worst of luck. Purchased a trigger from their shop. It was cool to see the family working on the trigger parts. Tested the trigger on a Sig MCX gen 1. Recorded multiple triple round burst. Realized Sig had a mandatory recall on the MCX. Sent in and received back, no longer worked with the Elftmann Trigger. Through the trigger in a drawer and forgot about it for around four years. Purchased a LWRC SMG 45, decided to drop in the trigger. Continuous double slam fire after manually recycling the bolt each time. Now I have a LWRC that doesn't shoot straight and a trigger that never worked since purchasing it from the Grandfather years ago. Now I must discipline myself to only by H&K, B&T and Geiselle triggers.

I had the same problem with mine few months ago. They did replace it quickly without any issues.

Well that sucks! I talked to John yesterday to let him know the Huber Square Brake for Secrete Squirrel 2 arrived and he told me that the AR trigger prototype was in testing!!!! Merry Christmas!

Lots of drop in triggers lately have been double firing binary style. Interesting. I’m gonna order your recommendation. Curious!

Hope my new trigger works well. It’s a Rise Armament RA 140. Seems to have really good reviews.

My elftmann trigger started locking up during reset. It would only shoot once then dead trigger unless you push it forward and tap it. Thought about shaving it down; might help.

My elf trigger fits lose also fires on safty not to mention fires 2 bullets back to back anyway I can get a new one if I have no proof of purchase?

I've had nothing but troubles with Elf triggers. Springs go limp, parts out of spec., some hand worked by them, that wasn't done properly (poorly stoned sear that the surface was rounded off)

Well I guess you could say it's time for that elf to go back on the Shelf get it jokes hahaha

4 years later I'm having the same problems with an elftmann I threw in a drawer a few years ago. At least I'm not alone. Whatever came of your trigger???

I am having problems with hammerhead drop in trigger. I oiled it up per their i instructions etc. When you install it and pull the charge handle , it seems the trigger is getting stuck just a frog hair under the disconnector.. ill post pics of headspace...

I have the Elf match adjustable it was new old stock I've only ran about 20 rounds so far so good??? Merry Christmas!!

I’m still a palmetto ept trigger fan with kaw valley enhanced hammer reduced trigger springs for surplus ammo or just reduced springs with reliable ammo. Hope your enjoying the holidays!

I bought the same trigger and it realy is a pic of $&@^ it dabble fires like crazy.

Same thing is going on with mine I just installed tonight and looking for reasons why it won't reset and is blocking the charging handle. The hammer will push all the way down and catch on the trigger keeping it from resetting and the slightest bump of the trigger will then send the hammer forward. Not good but I'll have to figure this thing out.

That stinks you were having those kinds of issues with that trigger. No firsthand experience with them, but never heard anything negative about them. You must be that one unlucky fella 😉 as far as putting down the smaller companies. It’s not right, but competition is great for the consumer, not so much for the business. I do like the smaller businesses though and try and support them when I can. Let us know how that trigger performs when you get it back.
