Just saw your video for the first time. Wow! You sing to what I parted with almost nine years ago. I wish him well and the best of health but I was with him for nearly eight years and I never really knew him. He's now communicating with me and we text and talk every so often but I can't go back to him and I've moved onto nothing. Can't explain whether I want someone or not but worry about aging and being lonely.

It’s been three weeks now since I lost Cody. He was my entire world, I have never felt more loved than when I was with him. He was the only man I ever told I wanted to be with him till the end, and today I have to pick up his ashes. I’ll never touch your body again, and it hurts so damn bad. To know I will never wake up next to you again, I have no idea of how to go on without him, but thank you Eli and Steve. The song is so beautiful even if I do break down every time I hear it.

Eli and Steve, a very beautiful song. The lyrics are so emotional and moving. It has been 5 months since I lost my partner of 21+ years. I loved him with all my heart, mind, and soul. I discovered Steve Grand less than a year ago and i am a huge fan from the UK. When i heard this song it hit me right away. I had to sign into youtube and just say thank you, and Wow! you made a middle aged man cry. It touched me, your voices together just sound amazing.This will be on my playlist forever. I cannot believe I have never heard of either of you before!!! I come from a musical family, my mum and dad are classical musicians. My dad was a violinist in the L.A. Sometimes we need to accept an inevitable consequence despite how hard it hurts. I'm sure there are a lot of memories, both good and bad in those 35 years, he's lucky (in my opinion) to get those then nothing at all "Tis' better to love and have lost than to have not loved at all"

Wow, I am touched by your comments. We have been working on our relationship and sought out counseling. I do believe it will work. We realized many things in our journey. We have seen friends come into our lives and passed on during the AIDS epidemic, we have been together longer than a lot of our own family members on both sides have been married. So, we are going to work on our relationship. We owe it to each other. We love and respect one another and that is one thing that will never change. Again, thank you for the kind words.

yeah. this song speak words to me. my relationship ended about 3 weeks ago when my partner cheated on me. apparently he's bisexual and i have always suspected it but chose to ignore it because i think we could work things out. After 3 years of relationship, he decided i am not enough and proposed her to be his wife instead. and the worst thing is that i can't help but to think that i am not good enough for him. its hard to be gay and fall for a bisexual guy. insecurity on both sides.

Reliving them after so, so many years has some how given me strength and solice instead of regret, fear and dispair. This song is the reminder of how invinsible we are when we allow ourselves to live every moment as though it were our last. After ten years I am alive again! I got told to search for this song as someone told me it was a hidden gem, blown away by both the song and how good both lead singers are, first time I have heard a male duet done so superbly, I have checked out the songs of both singers and this is no one off both these guys are amazing singers

The new "Simon & Garfunkel".....watch out world! I think they are a fun ensemble ....a study in contrasts, yet similar. Bottom line? Its a great duo song......really awesome, because it expresses real feelings we have all experienced. Eli strikes me as more disciplined in his craft/approach, but is totally amped by Steve's wild-horse positive energy. I hope you guys don't "Look Away" from each other, as it resonates with all of us who enjoy a strong vocal/musical vibe in our lives. Thanks to both of you guys ( Steve Grand and Eli Lieb for this "gift" today :-) Please continue to work together....... not sure who is 'Simon,' and who is 'Garfunkel' (or even if that analogy is applicable ;-) but you are mos definitely an effective team ! (pun intended). Men showing sincere love and true emotion, without fear, anger or violence.....the world needs all of that we can find. Cudos to you both! :-D ( I hope Joe Gauthreaux and Susan Morabito can weave this song into their magic music machines, and bring others to this kind of party ;-)
