If you take a teaspoon, it's rather easy to scrape the skin from the ginger using the spoon end, rather than taking the trouble to knife it off.

Great video! It's really awesome after hearing for so long about his mastery of the pot noodle, to finally watch the magnificent noodle Maestro at work! Just a one question and if I could add a little bit of my personal noodle technique/knowledge... Why did he break the noodles into quarters...??? The pot seemed big enough and the longer noodle strands would've been easier to handle and manage with your fork. I'm surprised he didn't add the beautiful chili pepper that was hiding in the background! Also, instead of the hot sauce I would've used something that I discovered a long time ago and simply can't live without anymore, Chinese Hot Oil! Seriously, I cannot say more good things about the stuff. It's an amazing ingredient to not only a lot of Asian style dishes and but many other kinds of dishes. Don't get me wrong, ordinary Hot Sauce is still great, but I believe both have different uses and are better than the other in certain foods or dishes. I really think Eli, knowing his love for hot and spicy sauces, that he would go crazy over the stuff! Also, another great pimping ingredient for noodle dishes, to add a whole different kind of spicy kick and give it more a complex and deep flavor, is Szechuan Peppercorn oil (or actual fresh Szechuan Peppercorn, if you can find it but the oil is bit more convenient and easier to find.) It adds an extremely unique, citrusy, peppery flavor and it's actually adds a numbing or tingling sensation instead of the "traditional" burning or painful hotness regular chili peppers or chili based sauces do. Both that and the Chinese-style Hot Oil are amazing ingredients that can really change your dishes from boring into life changing!

One question I have for Eli, if you're going to use a really basic noodle just for pimping purposes then why go for Koka? I love Koka noodles (curry or the spicy stir fry are great) but the basic Asda or Tesco chicken ones seem the same but just cheaper, any reason for it?

I've been pimping noodles my whole life and I think you're missing some ingredients that will hopefully be shown in the "advanced" version, love to see another noodle enthusiast tho.
