Just keep playing around and clicking and twisting things. Also, I've learned a lot just trying to copy some of my favorite songs by just listening to it and seeing if I can duplicate it, then you start hearing all the little things in the background that you don't realize are there. It takes 1,000 hours to be pretty good at something, 10,000 to become an expert.
