Getting to know the new Volvo FH |

What do you do when you have the keys to the new Volvo Trucks FH for a day? View it, drive it and show to others, of course! First, I take a good look at what the renewed cabin actually looks like. From the importer in Beesd I then drive to the Maasvlakte to meet driver Joe Wouters at HB Truckwash. We put his FH4 and new generation FH side by side to compare them. I also make a video call with driver Neil Foster in the UK, who also drives an FH4. At the end of the day I park the new truck back in Beesd again.

Wat ik echt zwaar irritant vind is dat scherm op het dasboard en niet geintregreerd op de plaats waar eerst de TomTom zat. desnoods steekt ie een beetje door het dashboard heen. Maar dat was zeker een betere plek. Voor de rest een perfecte auto.

As technologically advanced and as well-designed as this Volvo and other Euro=spec trucks are, you just can't beat the headroom and general space of a VNL or a Freightliner. Those trucks should come with a map so you don't get lost on the inside.

veel luxe en comfort heden ten dage maar de ellende en de dwang tot reglementair rijden blijft en verergert steeds maar. Sta maar een uur in de file, je hebt zogezegd een uur gewerkt en toch maar amper 5km gereden. Maar als je over je rijtijd gaat word je aanzien als een crimineel.

Dat zijn ook prachtige trucks. Maar als ik het goed gezien heb reed jij #Eline in een Volvo met buitenlands kenteken , mag dat met een Nederlands rijbewijs ? (ben hier niet zo thuis in )

Jazeker mag dat! Dit was een persdemo, afkomstig van Volvo Trucks uit Zweden. Overigens heb ik deze FH en de nieuwe FM twee weken na deze dag naar Italië mogen brengen. Er is dus nog meer beeldmateriaal onderweg 😉

Het is pas bij het lezen van de beschrijving dat ik wist dat ik ondertiteling aan moest zetten. Beetje jammer. Had het mooier/completer gevonden met een voice over, eigenlijk. Of dat je aan het begin van de video even daarvoor wat tekst had geplaatst. Maar verder super mooie video! Ook complimenten aan de wagen van Joe Wouters. Prachtig ding!
