@@paush51Seriously this, more often than not the mailslot at Shinrarta Dezra is piled up like this in open, to the point sometimes if you launch you can't get out. I think some players take pleasure out of intentionally blocking the mailslot.

I just found the following video of what can happen (very quickly!) if you play around the "mailslot"! - we see one of the biggest ships in the game die extremely quickly due to the pilot's impatience! - an apparent 22 million rebuy in an instant! 😯 . (While my current Corvette rebuy is more like 25 million!) Similarly, there was a glitch at ground stations a few years ago where after players accidentally hit and destroyed skimmers (the small hovering NPC drones you barely see from a ship and more notice them when you're driving an SRV!) and their ships were quickly destroyed by the stations defences! I remember watching an Imperial Cutter, one of the "big three" ships in the game, another powerful ship with an often 25+ million rebuy in such cases, going bang in an instant due to no fault of the players involved! (Where as in the linked video, the player "was" in the wrong, but the punishment was super harsh - the rebuy with possibly many failed missions and valuable destroyed cargo! 😯.) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/isVzZ9qS2LC3Yp8.htmlsi=lVON3dw444Dt5_mc Anyway again, fly safe and have fun out there! 😯😀🤘 .

I traveled to Sagittarius A and back. Upon trying to enter a station to sell my data I accidentally hit some clown who had no shields while flying my cutter. All my data gone and a 23mil rebuy. 😢 there went elite exploration and my triple elite status.

@@beekydogg I'm sorry to hear that, although even when I'm flying my ships in an exploration build, I always fit the smallest shield I can* and also a docking computer... On the latter, aside from making it easier to dock any ship, in particular larger ships, the best thing about one is that you won't be held responsible for any collisions when docking, as the computer is flying your ship and not you! 😯😀🤘 . (While indeed when leaving a station, if you keep your speed below 100 m/s, you won't be held responsible or fined for any collisions either.) All in, as said, I'm sorry that happened to you, but I wouldn't have put myself in that danger in the first place! 😯😀🤘 . (*A class four in my Anaconda for example, while a Cutter likely forces you to use a class five or six, when indeed you have to use a class five shield as a minimum in a Corvette definitely... 😀🤘 .)

Awesome! - Now do it again! 😯😂🩲 . (Actually don't! 😯😂.) That was very cool, but very risky as you could have gotten stuck yourself! The game classes such ships as loitering, when they get stuck like that or if they fly too near to an unauthorised landing pad, giving them a short countdown of maybe one minute before quickly destroying them! Personally I would have logged out and back in when hopefully the slot would have been clear (although then of course, you wouldn't have captured this cool video, so "Go big or go home!", I guess 😯😂 . P S. If you ever do find yourself stuck in part of a station like that, with a timer counting down to your imminent destruction - don't panic, breathe and log out and when you log back in, you should find your ship, free and safe, floating idle a few kilometres from the station, where you can take stock and get back "on the horse" 😯😀🤘 .

You can also toggle your landing gear as that’ll usually get you unstuck, its never failed me
