Have you noticed that since the new ship came out they have been releasing fixes and balances every week? This can only say that FD is more focused on elite now than during the last two years.

@@caltheuntitled8021 Yeah the last one was in April, last month. Sometimes you get breaks between them. You may not remember but there was a time when it was SEVERAL MONTHS between CG's and you'd see posts that said, "I wish they'd bring back CG's" and it made sense. It doesn't make sense now there have been TONS of CG's since the start of the Thargoid War. Just go look at Inara.

Gods, me too. I tried to push through that and ignore it but no... got burnt out with the war even though I avoided it like the plague. A year later I'm back for the Python Mk II and finally feeling good again. I'm managing to mostly ignore the Thargoid crap now but I will be very glad when the war is completely gonzo.

These patch notes prove they have a compentent balance team. Id like to see how they handle ship, health pools and DPS after powerplay is released. Fun times ahead.

As always it will depends on the numbers they chose as this will make or break everything. after all that balance team has a very, very, VERY long history of simply slamming everything that works to bring it to the level of everything that does not, overall leaving the game worse off, and they have done so consistently for almost every activity in the game, and now it seems to me like profitable thargoid activities are on the chopping block

@@mobiuscoreindustries Many employees have come and gone. However, they have always nerfed the out of control big and fast money tasks. Thats okay. Losing credits is supposed to be impactful to your gameplay. When you're engaged in BGS or Powerplay wars those tasks and personal credits are supposed to be a loss on failure. Look at all the fleet carriers parked for years while their owners are absent. This is not supposed to happen. Nobody gets balancing done right the first time. League of Legends balances every couple of weeks if not once a month. Elite Dangerous doesn't balance enough. So I see where you're coming from. But with a few adjustments. Those problems can and will be addressed in the future.

Sorry to be an astronomy pedant, but Galactic North is actually straight "up" from the centre at 90 degrees, perpendiclar to the plane of the disk. It's used in the real-life galactic coordinate system.

Been to Beagle Point (landed*) and a few jumps beyond, before the vistor beacon was establish. Not been back since. Also stayed well clear of the war. Apart from rescuing people and bringing in supplies for damaged stations. *Wonder if there are any figures on ships that landed on Beagle Point? I know i landed.

Seems to have omitted to mention the most important part of the patch... ORTHRUS payout nerfed from 40Mil to 15Mil...

All the other Thargoid payouts were upped, so I think that's very reasonable since the Orthrus payouts were completely broken.

@@cmdrandreyuenari4150 I agree it was broken, but it should have been fixed as soon as it was starting to get abused, now anyone that did abuse it are filthy rich and don't care, and the poor stay poor... at least they shared the patch notes in advance for once!

The progress on Hadad has been almost frightenly fast. I made between 60-100mil on Oya, but will probably do no better than 25 on Hadad simply because it's going so quickly, and my play time is limited. I'll probably miss the Oreo farming again, too. Not that i really need the credits, but....

I've been to Beagle Point, twice now. Both times I did it in an Asp Explorer. The first trip out, I didn't know the value of having an AFMU installed, so that was a challenge. The second was much easier with an AFMU installed. Lately, I've been thinking I should head out there with my fleet carrier, so that I can jump to the stars on the very edge of the Milky Way which have been beyond the rang of my Asp.

So many undiscovereds out there. Plenty of tritium to refuel so find a fuel a few source a few hundy out and just pick a direction and go. So msny undiscoveteds,so many bio"s. Found a undiscovered with 9 new bios a week back 1000ly from the bubble. All done with a 20ly Krait.

I think the AX changes are mostly good, but I do wish they'd fix this frustrating glitchy shadows bug. It's been pretty highly voted on the tracker for awhile now.

The new type 8 is the second new ship FDEV are realising, I haven’t yet found an image for it however. Also no information on stats or release date as of yet as far as I’m aware

@@EMPJetTrooper Would be hilarious if they went along with the jokes made about type 8s being invisible and giving it active camouflage. And it could be balanced with excess heat generation, that way it could still be locked onto with guided missiles and other weapons that rely on heat signature for targeting. Perhaps as an alternative to silent running

Hitched a lift on a carrier out to Beagle. With a 20ly range found nearly thirty undiscovereds as it was all short range jumps. CMDR Keepitsimplestupid rides again !

If you go about 5k LY out of the bubble in any direction you will mostly pass through undiscovered systems.

@@LucasCarter2 That is, if you avoid nebula sectors. I'm currently exploring a nebula farther out than 5K LY, no undiscovered systems after a week. Every nebula I've explored so far had an asteroid station nearby, along with plenty of unmapped bodies and undiscovered bio's. They just don't seem to have any undiscovered systems that close to the bubble.

They keep updating the most profitable part of the game. It's obviously not boring for everyone, or they wouldn't do it. If you're bored with the rest of the game (which hasn't changed), new content is going to bore you fast as well. Find an activity you sorta like, and make it fun. "Blaze your own trail" doesn't mean burn your way through content as fast as possible. It means be creative, and have fun doing it.

They didn't remove anything when they added the war. The rest of the game is still there. Not only that, they've already announced Powerplay 2.0 and a completely new feature, plus at least 4 new ships - all this year.

@@storm14k Off the top of my head, exploring some old Thargoid settlements for their tech, allowing us to communicate with the bugs and find out what they’re looking for (they were interested in escape pods and black boxes), build some of their hyperspace technology for ourselves, use some of their mining techniques, basically anything except shooting them all until they’re gone.

Ship with plenty of AX missile racks, the pre-engineered ones are by far best, or Guardian frag cannons with the new Rham Tarr anti anti-guardian field engineering. Get them in bound (jumping in) at a Spire site, type 8 alien signal source, or fleeing a Titan after all hearts have been destroyed but before it blows up (24 hrs window).

i still think they should not release patch notes about enemies.. maybe some in station bulletin boards... i mean if russia changes weapons and tactics.. its not posted worldwide either unless they announce themselfs.. so how would we know if the enemy changes something .. you'll find out in battle soon enough.. you want a realistic game.. then stop posting patch notes unless its directly from in your bases/ fedearation to the people and affect you directly.. like new ships.. weapon changes etc etc
