Thumbs up to him for that. The result was very very close at the end, which proves he was right, coz he hit hard !!! It was a matter of 1 or 2 hit/misses basically!

thanks !! Yeah, they are nice but they can cook your ship and are hard on your power distributor. The ship needs some tweakinggs. But nice absolute DPS as long as you shoot from close range (1.2 km or below). Fully charged at 2km = no damage at all basically. See you in the Void CDM o7

Just started playing again after not playing since 2017 and wow i dont think we had plasma chargers back then, so cool! Do you have a discord or anything you use to meet up with players? Its been a while and i dont know anyone. Im on steam btw

@@vertyco Sorry I am a very poor Discord User. However Im sure you will find there groups that will fit your interest (pvp? pve? Exploration? Thargoids?...) If pvp is your main interest, you can go to SHINRARTA DEZHRA or any Community Goal System and ask for 1v1. Many pvper usually there, and your friend list may increase rapidly this way. My best advice would be consider joining a squadron (look for at Inara.cz website) according to your interrests. It is usually a good choice to meet new CMD, help each other (grinding cash, etc.) and to make the Void less... empty. If you haven't played since 2017, I guess you will need some cash and mats to engineer your ships a bit. I am myself member of the 12 RONIN (inara.cz/elite/squadron/2124/). We are imperials ( with a nice Lore part documented by short stories) and our only rules are not to harm our minor faction, and try to help it when you can/want. but RL comes first 😉!! No level or involvment is required. We all play our own game and enjoy collaborating when needed. Check it and let me know if you are interested. But be aware it is far from a pvp dedicated squad.

@@jaek5903 Thanks! i have a few billion credits but will need to re-engineer my ships as they were all grade 5 for the legacy engineer mechanics. Im working on it now though!

A hybride phantom with 4 chargers looks nice: it is fast enough to gain distance and to charge the guns without pip checks.

i don't think this is the best pvp build to recreate, primarily because of the guardian hardpoints that generate a lot of heat compared to damage because their built for ax combat. maybe plasma accelerators would be a better pvp choice. o7

@@mohamed-amenyussuf1185 give them a go 100%. just keep in mind that they deal a lot less damage than human weapons and they generate heaps of heat.

@@Hungermanw3t true, little less damage but much easier to use, but at short range. No damage at 2km or more. SO good range is 750m to 1.2 km

1st time it was when I was in AX ship and attacked buy a Xeno Peace CMD. I realized they had decent absolute damage and the superior shotspeed (6000 M/S !!!) makes it easy to use. The only drawback is you have no experimentals. PS : These are salvation's Pre Engineered Plasma chargers, not the casual ones

@@jaek5903 I was never really into AX so I'll just assume the pre engineered ones have long range or something, 6km/s is absolutely nuts

@@BespinGuard1 Actually no. They are short range weapons. Fall Off damage starts at 1500m. Even fully charged, no damage done at 2km. Best shooting window is 1km. But they have absolute damage, and more piercing. and at the firing range, with the shotspeed, it is almost a hitscan weapon (like rails), which is nice for a Mouse and Keybord player as myself.
