I just got this gun yesterday and I love it so far! It's reliable and hard hitting. It's also my first airsoft gun! Also thanks for another great video. This actually helped me decide to get me this gun

Just letting you know that if you can’t find a certain part for the gun you need on any rebuild kits online you can call umarex (the manufacturer) and they will help you out, I was looking for a rubber part and only airsoft station has it but it’s been out of stock for a year, I’ve had mine for 7 years

2:50 correction. You said the safety will only work if it’s cocked. It can actually be put on safe when it’s not cocked, but it requires extra force because the safe also has to stop the hammer.

If your 1911 tac can switch to safety while the hammer is down, the safety mechanism is damaged.

The safty kinda sucks on the one got, It will engage to easy and the left side doesn't want to move at all. However I'm 1911 fan so I will deal with it.

I honestly like the gun, but I really really dislike the look, that's the only issue I have with the gun😂 I will however be buying a different 1911, just sadly not from you guys, but I still am gonna get stuff, gears soon enough.

I've been trying to see if this gun can accept a mounting plate for a red dot, but I'm finding absolutely nothing that says it can or can't accept one. Do you know anything about this? Do I need to have part of the slide milled out to fit one?

Because the 1911 is a single action only design. Going all the way back to the original 1911 design.

The 1911 models can only switch to the safe position when the hammer is back.

Fun to shoot, but the pot metal alloy hammer cracked after a day of backyard shooting and then the whole hammer assembly got knocked out of place.

That's unfortunate. Do you have all the pieces still? If you got it from us (or any authorized Elite Force dealers within the US for that matter), contact who you got it from. If you got it through us, we can take care of it, you're likely within your warranty which you should take advantage of as long as you didn't mess with it first. Cheers!

It’s CO2 but the FPS is still low enough for indoor play due to the heavier slide. Starts at 340ish fps and drops down to around 250-265fps when the gas is running out in my experience

6mm. I suppose it could take smaller as wel, but that might cause a jam. The mag won’t fit anything beignet than 6mm I actually tried putting in a 7mm

Very poor mag design!! No way to lock down mag spring. Do not tell me use thumb and got bloody thumb trying to hold down. Yes I am sure you can look for OTHER items to hold down mag spring but who wants to do that. A simple locking notch; like most all other air guns, would greatly improve reloading. I like way gun is designed and weight; I shoot 1911 often and this feels good but that poorly design pisses me off for what I paid for this gun.
