Why is everyone so adamant she didn’t die?? In the BOOK Joe killed her and pinned the murder on the therapist who went to PRISON. In the SERIES Joe killed her and pinned it on the therapist who went to PRISON. She is dead. She does not come back in the second or third book. Joe meets someone new, several new women actually. The only way she can come back is in flashbacks/memories. They don’t throw you in prison without a body.

She's so beautiful and genuinely charismatic. I'd love to see her in some other stuff, she's really what gave You its center. It doesn't have the same sense of drama without her I don't think. She was the perfect counter-balance to Joe. Her humanity, vulnerability and believability kept the show grounded in spite of the wild stuff that went on in it.

Yes joe said he doesn’t kill anyone he loves, but beck said she didn’t love him and I think that tainted joe’s love for her/idea of her so yes I think it’s confirmed beck is dead.

I'm still attracted to Pen's character, Joe no matter how creepy he is. I can't explain it. It's like the dark side of him is so dangerous that you want to believe its not really him.

Deep down everybody loves these kinda people. A person who would kill, sacrifice everyone and everything for you. Even though he is kinda crazy. If Beck didn't discover his secret box, they would live happily ever after. Joe is kinda like Anakin Skywalker. He embraced ''dark side'' for her Padme.

That’s why so many women irl have gotten killed. I actually dated a real life Joe without the killing and I NEVER want to experience that again. It’s not funny or cute, it’s horrible. And the trauma lasts a lifetime.

Alexis Johnston and honestly not sure how old you are but I went through a phase similarly when I was a teen when I didn’t know any better so it’s okay. But as I got older I realized for example Edward from twilight is actually extremely creepy. Same concept applies here. If Joe wasn’t remotely attractive then his character wouldn’t be romanticized

Definitely dont root for Joe. He was so unlikable and delusional asf. I dont like a single character in this series, except probably Karen. If this series doesnt end with him dead or caught, it has to be the most BS ending topping HIMYM.
