So nice her children were there to honor her. One could tell she raised them well.
@yvonneplant94342 ай бұрын
The way her kids turned out is how I knew she was not like the stuff tabloids said about her. Nothing at all. They are all pretty normal people. The oldest, Michael Wilding Jr, is 71. Next his brother, Christopher, 69. Liza, 66 and Maria who is 61 or 62.

Humble and sincere, as only the great stars can afford to be.

Elizabeth Taylor deserves great credit for her work in assisting those members of the film community suffering with AIDS, as well as others afflicted. She was solely responsible for reviving the career of Montgomery Clift by insisting that Warner Bros. cast him opposite her in Reflections In A Golden Eye, after he had completed The Defector. She was supportive of Hudson and Dean as well.

ROCK HUDSON, Monty Clift and Jimmy Dean all were loved by Elizabeth. Sleep warm with your loves & dear friend's LUV.

Adore her! Not just her great talent and exquisite beauty, but her huge heart! Her enormous compassion. Her speaking up for Aids was trail blazing and one of her greatest accomplishments. On her watch, a lot of research money was raised. Bless her memory! She lives forever on screen.🌹

It's great that Taylor received the AFI Life Achievement Award when she looked great and was healthy enough and ambulatory to receive it. She is overly modest- Taylor did outstanding work in A Place In The Sun, Suddenly Last Summer, Raintree County, and Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf.

Yes she is Marilyn was beautiful but had work to get there. She had her chin done, breasts etc whereas Elizabeth Taylor was a staggeringly natural beauty This is not my having a dig at Marilyn tho. Both women's beauty will be forever more

@luis3278912 жыл бұрын
Her performance in 'Giant" (1956) directed by George Stevens, was her greatest performance. In three hours, through many generations, her character embodied a strong willed, loving woman who as a loyal wife, devoted mother, loving ranch owner, embodied feminist & independent woman still captivates me to this day. It's a must see in all U.S., especially in schools & film festivals in the Southwest where anti-Mexican sentiment (a topic rarely discussed in films) is at an all-time high.

I just re-watched Virginia Woolf; I hadn’t seen it in years. By God, she was brilliant. Truly one of the great legendary screen performances. And she’d already done many other great roles before that. If you forget about the marriages, the jet-set lifestyle, the craziness of her life, she was at heart just a damn good actress.

What a personality! What a star! Her activism against AIDS and for the LGBT community as well as her cinematographic career, crowned in particular by 2 Oscars, make her a true legend. Well done ! Quelle personnalité ! Quelle star ! Son activisme contre le sida et pour la communautée LGBT ainsi que sa carrière cinématographique, courronée notamment par 2 oscars, font d'elle une véritable Légende. Bravo !

@sodoffbaldrick30384 жыл бұрын
When she was married to Senator John Warner of Virginia, She was often in the state capitol of Richmond. I worked at the Medical College of Virginia as a young medical photographer, and one day I was coming back from the downtown area, late as usual getting back from lunch. I cut across the capitol grounds, head down and speed walking, almost running. As I cut across the sidewalk from the Capitol building I felt a presence and stopped just short of literally walking into those amazing violet eyes and their beautiful owner. I apologized, but in true English fashion Miss Taylor apologized to me for my almost running her over! I will regret all my life that I didn't have the wit to say I'm so sorry I almost killed you. Could I have your autograph? What a beautiful and gracious lady.

You're right, only she didn't revive his career cause he died before it went into production. Because Brando was a big admirer of Montgomery Clift, he agreed to be in it at short notice for a reduced salary.

James Dean wasn't gay.
@annlanders9786 жыл бұрын
Yes he was.
@canasta595 жыл бұрын
Actually, Dean's gay relationships are extensively documented and not something he was ashamed of. The most recent chronicling is in a new book about the making of Giant which has names, places, facts etc.
@musclemike19695 жыл бұрын
Why do people like Lynn make such factually incorrect statements with obviously zero knowledge of the truth. It wasn't even much of a secret back then!
