Her elderly patients at a three long-term care facilities where she worked died between 2007 and 2014, and at a private house. She also pleaded guilty to attempting to kill four others. Her guilty pleas on June 1, 2017, make her the most prolific female serial killer in Canadian history. Her two-and-a-half-hour videotaped confession came on Oct. 5, 2016, after agreeing to an interview with Woodstock Police. She spoke with Det. Const. Nathan Hergott.

I didn't have any issue with the echo. But it was hard to hear some of the stuff because of the constant noise in the background. I think they have the same type of thing a counselors office has to block sound from going from room to room (to protect people's privacy while talking). I'm guessing that's what all that crackling and airish sound the entire time was.

Here in the UK I used to take the same bus as child killer. I remember seeing his face on the news and thinking to myself where have I seen this guy? I told my b/f I feel like I know him from either work or college. Then they revealed the town he was from and a different picture of him. I froze for what seemed like an eternity. He used to take the same bus as me at least twice a week he stuck in my head because he sat at the exact same seat right at the front of the bus 95% of the time where everyone could see you from a side profile. He wore a black bomber jacket (same in the picture that they showed nearer to the end of the investigation) What a piece of shit. Hope he dies a horrible death in prison.

Being a nurse myself for the last 31 years , it's a stressful job but it's not THAT stressful to where you actually start killing patients. I've been hit, cursed out, worked short staffed and even had piss thrown on me but I haven't killed a patient yet. It's one of those jobs that you have to love despite the stress or you have no business there .. smh

I think he used very good interrogation tactics to make her feel as comfortable as possible. When you're nervous and KNOW the outcome of the interview, it can be very hard to recollect those memories and details the way she did. She barely stuttered and got anything mixed up, just a couple stumbles. That's also why they bought her food before they got there..it's their job to get as much willing information as possible so she can convict herself. He really did a great job and let her do all the talking. He empathized with her as if he understood her so she felt like she had a chance at being handled lightly. In every story, she was the victim somehow...he noticed that and treated her as such to reel out more information.
