Appreciate the in depth review and comparisons! I was looking to buy the OP buds pro 2, but I found the Samsung buds 2 on sale for about 70USD so I had to go give those a shot first. I'll probably wait for good sales before picking up these OnePlus buds, 175usd is a little more than I'm willing to spend on TWS, especially as the under 100USD market has a lot of compelling options on offer.

Which one do you think is best in 100d and 200d upper class limit? MY considerations are Battery, ANC, TM and Comfort.

@@adityabhujbal6891 I don't usually go above 100USD, the only one in that price range I've tried is the Edifier Neobuds pro. Pretty decent ANC and TM, comfort is good if you are okay with stem type buds. A little too bassy for me though, and the battery performance on LDAC/LDHC is pretty meh. Under 100 USD, My latest purchases are the Edifier w240Tn and the Soundpeats mini pro. Both are fairly comfortable if you have medium sized ears and select the right eartip(both don't have eartips that go deep in your ear canal, just cover the opening). The W240tn has stronger ANC, but is susceptible to wind noise, the mini pro has slightly weaker ANC but is less affected by wind. I like the more neutral tuning of the W240tn tho. There are probably others that will fit your criteria and have better sound quality, but I haven't tried them since I only get buds with gaming modes.

Hey Jeff, I'd just like to say I've had the Soundcore A3i earbuds for almost 5 months now. I'm so glad I got them and I would like to thank you for making the videos that helped me come to the decision of purchasing them. I love using them for workouts and using them to help me sleep, I'm deffinatly sticking around in case I ever find a worthy upgrade.

Good stuff as always. It would be interesting to see the options on the Hey melody app (and others) compared to Wavelet in relation to the buds.

Wavelet has a superior equalizer but the presets and personalized EQ in HeyMelody are better in my opinion. Makes it more accessible for people new to audio adjustments.

Thanks for the review. I bought the OnePlus and am blown away…clarity, separation, depth are all fantastic. Hearing new things in familiar songs. Volume level is good (loud). Custom profile sound through hearing tests helpful. I have had other S tier buds including soundcore liberty 3 and these really are in another league. Great review EL J and thanks for your work. These are my new gold standard.

Hey Jefe, great video bro! I have a suggestion for a segment in a video. Can you do a audio bleed test? Like how music sounds like when you're sitting next to a person that's close to you, or how music sounds like from a different point of view. I say that because the liberty 4's are good at trapping audio.

I love my Tozo T6s as they pair quickly and long battery life. For the price you cant beat them. I have prolly 10 different kinds of earbuds from $25 to Apple Pro Earbuds.

Excellent review. Just some questions: 1) If you start a phone call and earbuds are inside the charging case, what happen when you pick up one of them? The audio call automatically switch to the earbud or you have to do it manually from the phone dialer (selecting the right audio destination?) 2) Are you able to set "Transparency mode" as default mode to use with a single earbud, without the need to set it manually every time you wear one of them? That because with the excellent Liberty 4 earbuds you cannot do these 2 basic things and It's very annoying....

Nice review. Seem like add the swipe control to change volume and the buds will be perfect. One question since u also have the oneplus 11. Have u checkout the Snapdragonsound feature in this phone. I know u have review the edifier stax s3 before and it also support Snapdragonsound. I don't see any real review about this technology and curious if u can cover it

Great review as usual. Is the sound on these only great if I have a phone that uses LHDC? Would these sound better at normal mode than my L3Ps using LDAC since I have a Galaxy phone?

1. No. Codec only makes a small difference. 2. I prefer OnePlus over Soundcore in this comparison. I don't know whether or not you will agree.

Great overview and review Jeff. I really like the case design and I’m fine with the AirPods Pro like design of the buds themselves. My take is that they provide excellent sound quality for BT in ears coupled with excellent battery life. I use the AirPods Pro 2 most with the Samsung G Buds Pro2 in rotation and the SoundCore A10s for sleep. May order these just to compare SQ Cheers bro

@@buzzlightyear3461 It depends what you're wearing. I used to have the 1st gen Bose QC earbuds and that case was huge but I wore cargo pants so it isn't that big of deal for me. If you wear jeans or more tight pants it might be a problem.

Hi! I have subbed to you for a while and bought a soundcore q10 cause of your reviews and it's awesome. But now i want to upgrade to something a little less bassy and can hear parts of songs and instruments clearly through. I was thinking of the Q30 with some EQ'ing but idk if they are worth the upgrade? what would you suggest just under 100$? (IEMS or over ear headphones .etc)

Great review, Jefe! I picked these up and so far, so goooood! One question: I got the CP1025 eartips based on your recommendation, but with the little black base plastic, they dont fit in the charger. If I dont use them, and just put the silicone tip on they do. But isn't the plastic base a part of the performance? Am I missing something?

Hey there El i am having problems with picking out new earphones, i have seen a lot of people complain about battery problems and that even after couple months their one plus buds pro 2 batteries are toast and cant even last an hr. Not compatible. Different magnet placement in the buds and case won't allow them to seat properly on the charging contacts.

Both are still excellent regardless. But if codec support is important to you, go with Liberty 4.

I'm curious on what devices did you test out the earbuds for the sound quality ranking. Were you using the buds with their respective devices for maximum sound quality? or were you using one device for all the earbuds?

All these earbuds were tested on Samsung, Apple, and OnePlus devices to ensure quality across the board. Same as I do on all my other reviews. Sometimes I swap the phones out for Asus, Xiaomi, or Pixel as well.

No. LHDC is nice to have but codecs should never be a deciding factor when buying earbuds or headphones.

from what i've read, the spatial audio and head tracking isn't brand locked, but is only available to android 13 devices (+ the relevant update/patch). Even other OnePlus phones don't have spatial audio with the Buds Pro 2.

Samsung does not support LHDC. Xiaomi Mi 11 and newer support LHDC playback. I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and it supports LHDC playback.

I've got my eye on the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, but I've noticed they only support LHDC, AAC, and SBC codecs. My Pixel 8 Pro, on the other hand, supports AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, LC3, and Opus. I'm curious if the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will deliver a great experience on the AAC codec (I read a rumor about an LC3 codec update too). If not, do you have any recommendations in the ballpark of 150 EUR? Sound quality, volume, and solid bass are my top priorities. Multi-connectivity is a plus for me too. Thanks a bunch! 🙌

I would still choose the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. Hi-Res codecs are nice but will not change your experience with this product.

I've just ordered the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds 2 and wondering does Spin fit makes any eartips or comply please as I use these for the gym and just need some different types off eartips for better secure fit

What's good?! Always appreciate your reviews for real! I've made some purchases based off of your reviews in the past including most recently the liberty 4 pro. If not using a One Plus phone (I'm using note 10 Plus and S21 Plus) are these buds better than the Liberty 4? Like worth the 50 dollars difference? If so why? Appreciate ya my guy! 😉

Golden sound worked dope! It gave it a nice little punch and the treble wasn't harsh which I appreciated, I had low hopes because sound scan for the Anker liberty 3 pro was awful and made everything so harsh/ piercing. But not in the OnePlus, very happy!

Excellent Review, I just have a question, I do not have a OnePlus phone and I want either this buds pro 2 or the Liberty 4, I know the Hi-Res option is only locked for OnePlus devices and I like listening on Hi-Res, I have tested the liberty 4 before and I can use LDAC on my phone, which option do you think is better for this case?

Works fine for me. The downside is the fact that some features are locked into using a OnePlus device similar to what Apple and Samsung do with their earbuds.

Man these are solid. Mics are great too it's just still not an Apple level in my opinion. I would order AirPods Pro but I am Samsung S23 Ultra user (super happy with it after 1 week of using tho), so eh. Nonetheless, I've decided to try out cheaper earbuds and ordered Edifier W240TN for the calls, as I prefered their deeper voice sound in quiet environment calls to literally any other earbuds. Can't wait to test these

Cp1025 are the ones that fit in the charge case. I haven’t found any foam tips that work well with these.

Really nice video, only thing that I don't like is that there is no "find my earbuds" option if you dont have a oneplus phone. Kinda lame, is there another option for that incase I lose on of them?

Not that I'm aware of. Locking in basic functions like that is not a good move in my opinion. I've passed that feedback along but I doubt they'll change.

Found them at $115 USD on Amazon earlier today, didn't even hesitate and already ordered them. Can clearly remember you calling them one of the best buds out there some months ago on the tier lists so was no brainer. @@tortillajackson6007 they work as smoothly as the first day I used them, got them on the Hans Zimmer EQ and I like the sound of it and the NC will help you with the traffic noise, not on an airplane situation. I usually pair them to a Samsung S21 FE but have also paired them to a Dell G3 and worked perfect. If you're looking forward to get them, don't hesitate
