Elk Frenzy! Bowhunting Elk in the Missouri River Breaks!

The Missouri River Breaks of Montana is an amazing place to hunt elk that we are no stranger to. Nate & Clayton both drew tags and couldn’t wait to get to Flatwillow Creek Outfitters for what would be Clayton’s first elk hunt in almost 20 years.

To much pressure and people that think they can call in the breaks. Those elk will get spooked, swim the river and run for 30 miles. Calling isnt a great tactic in the breaks

called plenty in there. just know how to actually call and youre good to go, its open so spot and stalk is still best imo @@scottcampbell9002

Not that I wouldn't sit in a blind on water and shoot a giant bull... Cause I would! But it just isn't the same as the 8-10 miles of hiking every day for 15 days to finally shoot a raghorn that Im so used to!

That is not how 99% of the population hunts elk. People train all year to elk hunt on public property (which there is very little in the Missouri Breaks), but it looks so easy hunting from a blind on private property.

Lol nothing like “chasing” elk from a blind. I love lazy rich people that call them selves hunters. You couldn’t kill a bull like that on your own on public land if your life depended on it. Anything for content though.
