There are still several woodwind instrument companies in Elkhart: Gemeinhardt flutes/piccolos, Armstrong flutes (I own one), and Selmer clarinets/saxophones - I have a Signet clarinet made in 1985 from grade school.The Elkhart Jazz Festival is still a big annual event for the city. I love that place! :)

All those places you just mentioned are owned and operated by trailer 🏭 factory workers now,the quality just isn't there anymore,I know of quite a few people that used to work in all those instrument factories and it has changed beyond night and day.
